Ha ha!!!! I remember Shady..I think it was just after we signed Kudus, he thought we had also just got MGW, and was about to wrap up Wharton the following day.

He was going absolutely berserk...Demanding apologies left right and center

Honestly. These boys never learn

Anyway... Merry Christmas Shadydan Shadydan . 🤶

Shady is a god to me , so I'll ignore this in his case

I don't give a fig about Paratici or Lange or any of them.

Just get to work in the winter window.

All those talking as though they have some insight or trying to decipher the characters of these people are so funny.

It's not like players, who we get a proper feel for.

If we were doing well there would be lavish praise for all and sundry.

Ultimately we have decent players and certainly ones who should be doing a lot better, and so if there is an obvious failing, it's the selection.of managers.

Important to remeber every DOF up to this point had both hands tied behind their back due to the megalomaniac dictator. Now the little bastard has been sacked, you would think they have more chance of having an influence - even if the self sustaining transfer pot is in place. Can’t underestimate the damage the fuhrer caused, the lunatic psychopath

He cried when he couldn't get a deal over the line resulting in Levy getting involved and concluding the deal a day later.

The fact that we didn't give him his P45 there and then Sums us up as a club.

Werent Villa fans delighted when he got the boot?
No, the Villa Reddit board seems to think he did an okay job. Good at selling players too although wasn’t great with the Grealish money. His results were positive — or, at least the club’s result were positive during his tenure (of course no one outside the organization knows exactly who did what).

I’m sure there’s a Villa Massive fan who thinks that because they were the first club to win 7 FA Cups, he should have been able to sign Vinicius and Haaland but every fanbase has a few Cupid Stunts.

Timo Werner (loan, Jan 2024)

• João Palhinha (summer 2024)
• Wilson Odobert (summer 2024)
• Lucas Bergvall (summer 2024)
• George Feeney (summer 2024)
• Luka Vušković (2024)
• Yang Min-hyeok (2024)

• Mohammed Kudus (July 2025)
• Mason Melia (Feb 2025)
• Ant Kinsky (goalkeeper)

The WWW tells me those are signed on his watch. Ange would’ve had a bit to do with some… solanke being the stand out as an Ange pick.

I suppose if you’re aiming mid table that’s the kind of players you’d bring in

Really not much to shout about considering its not an insignificant amount of cash spent

That’s an absolutely shocking list of players. Who knows whether he had any say in those….. so much shit is on Levy

Paratici was "consulting" during that period, so probably still him.

Just so I can align to which way is up, is it on Levy because they haven't been a success?

Asking because people also go apeshit when there's a hint he "blocked" or "refused" a transfer. What would be the right solution

The structure allows them all to pass the buck and hide from blame. 2 sporting directors with identical job descriptions that include "overseeing'" recruitment and another guy who is head of recruitment.

I was asking more for the opinion of people who can somehow complain about a guy for getting involved and, yet simultaneously not getting involved.
