Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I would go as far as to say anyone that want Jose to remain in charge is not a spurs fan.

Oooooooh! That gonna cause some controversy!

If we have another terrible performance vs Villa, then the International Break may be used to replace Jose.

If Parker keeps Fulham up, give him the job.

I’m sorry mate but a performance against Villa means nothing. We will only go on to drop points in the next game. Papering over the cracks FC. The team is done mate under this manager. You could see it last night and Hugo pretty much confirmed it in his interview. If Jose isn’t sacked by the Villa game, I certainly won’t be tuning in to watch that heap of shit and I’m sure I’m not alone in this either. Jose has to go ASAP, fuck waiting to see what we do at Villa.

Every text I got last night from Spurs mates (Mrs was wondering what on earth was going on it pinged so many times) was 100% unanimous in their Jose Out mantra. Even people that had previously been pro-Jose.

Lost the players and now lost the fans. I would say Twitter is 98%+ Jose out.
Fully agree time for a massive shake up.
I would only keep 4 or 5 of the entire squad.
Whoever the new manager is we are in for a very unhappy 2-3 years minimum.
We have a squad full of egos who can't back it up where it matters which is on the pitch who lack Heart Desire and Pride.
We are fucked

Oh you are talking about net spend. You including Locelso in Poch's transfers? As we were already obligated to sign him no matter what.

We havent sold many players yet which if we get rid of in the summer like , Sissoko, Winks, Lamela, , Davies, Doherty , Dier, , then we can recoup most of the 92 million back and be at 0 net spend for Jose as well.
Yes he’s included.

another hypothetical. That’s all you Jose defenders have. What he might do

Christ i feel like shit today, a bunch of overpaid, pampered bottlers led by an arrogant narcissistic cunt. I love this club i really do but i fucking hate this manager and team at the moment, i just wish i had an off switch.

Kind of feels like a building job where the guy tells you we need £100k to get it done, you act like he is just upping the price and is wrong. Then another guy (Jose) says I can get it done for £20k, you go with the cheap option then the house falls down and you now have to spend £200k.
It's more like you've slowly build your house up over years but the bloke you hired to over see it all lost his way so you've splashed out a load of cash on a bloke who built some really good houses 15 years ago. Now none of the contractors are listening to him, the electrics and plumbing don't work and you don't even know if there's an architect. Now you have the decision of changing the site manager and a few contractors or bulldozing the lot and starting gain.

One of my mates is a Chelsea fan who watches our games. He's quite reasonable. He said last night "Quite sad seeing that as Europe is Jose's bread and butter, he even won it with United"

Whilst I'm neither here nor there with Mourinho, I don't think anyone can deny we have more mediocrity than quality in our squad.

I definitely think Mourinho should at the very least not be leading us into next season, but I don't think getting rid of him is the magic bullet that alone solves our problems.

We need a major overhaul of playing staff - too many are not good enough, either in terms of their attitudes or ability, sometimes both.

Or recruitment structure and scouting need a major overhaul. Too many times we are buying the wrong players - not necessarily bad players, but players that don't fit us. The new manager, whoever it is, needs to be helped with a director of football. Keep Levy far away from the football side of things and delegate total control to this individual and the manager and the networks they are responsible for. That will likely change the type of candidate we appoint but that will benefit us in the long run.

I think this will take two seasons to sort at least to be honest, it's a mess. Not expecting great things for 2021-22. The more I've seen the more I think we need a total rebuild and overhaul of how we do things, and I am warming to project-building managers: a Poch mk 2, if you will.
