Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

My first game was 99, although was alive through Gross, I was too young to actually remember anything about his reign. This for me is worse than Santini, AVB and Sherwood, when taking into account the strength of this squad compared to what those others had.

Hiring Jose at the time we did, giving him that length of contract and that wage will go down as the worst decision made by Levy, imo even worse than the no show transfer window of 2018.

This is without question his biggest most idiotic mistake and there is no telling how bad it really is. How far backwards it will take us. What a fall from grace.

Player values have been decimated. Fan apathy which leads to lower attendances. Champions League finalists to 1.3 ppg and going out the Europa League with a 3 goal lead over Dinamo Zagreb and out the FA cup at home to relegated Norwich.

Does anyone remember last season when him and his coaching team celebrated getting Europa League after drawing to Crystal Palace.

I did not understand what he was celebrating. He has been the worst manager of Enic tenure so bad I decided for the first time when Spurs are playing and I am doing nothing else (holiday or going out) not to bother watching the match.

I have felt ambivalent when watching us this season it is hard to enjoy watching the game when we play the worst football in the league.

Agree with most of that but I think the stadium will still be full

One of the most worrying things is surely the value of players and Levy should be all over that as it’s a major worry for our future

Initially it will be, but it won't take long for fans to give up going if he (Levy) keeps serving up this shit.

Jamie Redknapp said it perfectly after the game yesterday - the football is awful and the results are bad, once the anger is passed it is fan apathy and indifference. I noticed a lot of fans yesterday on the board weren't angry anymore, myself included.

Too many Daily Mirror/Sun readers get brainwashed by red top papers who are AGAINST Tottenham. If you lose Mourinho in his first full season in charge (with none of his players bought) you go back to square one which is what your enemies want.

The media scorned Mourinho when he joined Spurs and wanted him to fail while Woolwich hired rookie Arteta and had no such criticism. Arteta has flopped even with MASSIVE SKY support to force referees to give all their dives and David Luiz headbutting Jimenez deliberately not condemned, but when McTomaney does hit Son in the face clearly it's derided as a bad call on Sky (Woolwich TV).

The Spurs fans on here have a go at their own team and their own manager rather than Sky or the FA or media. These Spurs fans are the worse fans any club could want.

They are spoilt brats feeling entitled and have no loyalty or even half a brain to see the big picture. I wish they would go support Crystal Palace and complain about them because they drag Tottenham down when they should be looking at other factors.

Oh, Mourinho isn't perfect either. He left out Alderweireld for no good reason. Lloris was poor on two goals also. José said they all gave 100%, I think Lloris gave about 25% (as usual).
The irony of this post is delicious

There are a few on here that are just trolls
There are a couple of dozen that are not Spurs, but Jose fans
There are a handful that have differing opinion to me, that Jose needs more time
There are a majority that think Jose has far extended his welcome

And then there is a half-brained conspiracy theorist nutcase called gobbygonk

I wasn’t surprised either as they dominated throughout after we scored and you could see Cavani losing Dier any time he liked and we were warned by their disallowed goal

Fuck Dier off this Summer along with 5-6 others

Most probably haven’t changed their vote and acceptance at the start for many was reluctant let’s give him a shot which is fair.

Yep that is exactly what I did. I was initially horrified at both Poch's sacking and Mourinho's appointment. After beating West Ham etc I thought give him a shot see if we can win something but knew it would turn toxic eventually. Sadly we didn't get a trophy in the mean time.
