Pretty much in line with the quality of 99.9% of his posts.
So I watch this again and one thing stands out, he wants Roma fans to see this.
1. It's being filmed - he doesn't ask them to stop filming
2. He looks at the camera on at least 5 occasions so he absolutely knows they are filming and is fine with it
But what follows shows even more than above that he knows exactly what he's doing (it's for his Roma MouAnon fans)
3. It's Italian media that's filming - (they are the ones that put it up on socials to go viral, even stamped the video with their brand - the youtube film above has been clipped from the original so doesn't show it but go on Twitter and the brand stamp is clear)
4. Anthony Taylor and Oliver are English - So why for 2/3rds of his staged rant is he speaking in Italian to English-speaking officials? Because it's performance, a performance for the Roma fans.
The entire irony of all this is that whilst watching the game live, probably the best performance of anyone that night was Taylor. I'm not sure he got a thing wrong. The penalty that he awarded for Seville he cancelled after reviewing it pitchside with VAR (I do think the use of VAR needs to be "sold" to the viewers better in these examples because to award then revue always gives the impression the refs made a mistake if it's overturned, whereas, like in Rubgy, the Ref basically says "I need help here" and uses VAR to arrive at a decision, this gives refs control and therefore authority).
Anyway, the dinosaur is a calculating devious little cunt.
