Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Couldn’t agree more mate. That CL final loss did it for me. We fall short every single fucking time. Mourinho is the man to change that. If Mourinho can’t bring success to Spurs, then no manager in world football can.

What fucked me off about that is it was SO winnable too. Liverpool were crap, it was a shit game, their top players didn't turn up. We had to be merely OK and we would have won. What an opportunity missed. Still annoyed about it tbh.

If he turns us into the 2010 Inter he can stay for as long as he wants.
So it's goodbye, "To Infinity & Beyond", and hello, "Back to the Future".

He's past it.

Poch didn’t cause that fucking terribly given penalty when Mane shot the ball to Sissoko.

That ruined the whole final. Liverpool immediately started playing more defense wise and we just didn’t know what to do.

Has Mourinho ever managed a club that hasn’t won at least one trophy in a decade? Or two trophies? Or five?

He’d be an interesting experiment. He’s definitely got the winning mentality though. Can’t really see how he’d be able to work with Levy though.

One thing we can't let happen is to spend big only for Mourinho to leave without winning anything.

But you can't guarantee anything in football, so it's a gamble. The big question is: is it worth it?

As I see it, the only pull he has is the winning trophies. I despise everything else about him.

But that's exactly my point. Terrible decision but we had 90+ minutes to work around it. Poch's in game management virtually never turned situations around to our benefit.

Another grating thing about this appointment is there’s absolutely no continuity. Most clubs with a semblance of a plan will appoint a manager that lines up with the philosophy the previous manager instilled into the club. Appointing Mourinho completely rips up Pochs philosophy and everything he stood for.
It just reeks of panic and desperation.

Absolute nonsense.

Mourinho failed at United. United operate the same way we do but with much deeper pockets which allow them do do things like spend record money on Pogba. If he couldn't succeed there, why the fuck would we think he'll succeed here?

I think Levy is just tired of hearing that he doesn't care about winning. So he hires a big fucking name for once so everyone will shut the fuck up and let him pay for his stadium.

God you are a bore mate. What philosophy? We are 14th mate and have been playing dogshit for the best part of 8 months. Have you seen our form? Nothing desperate about appointing one of the most successful managers in world football who’s also hungry and got a serious point to prove. Follow Pochettino to his next club if your that bothered dude. Jose Mourinho has my blessing any day of the week, serial winner in charge finally.

I get the fealing that Mourinho will be levy's George Graham appointment. A good manager who doesn't fit our soul. Also could be levy's( like graham was for sugar) last appointment.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ. This is actually happening. We had better win the fucking league, or everyone from Big Joe down to the fucking program touts can fuck right off.
This is where I am with this. League cup who cares, FA cup would be nice but a lucky draw like City had last year and we’d win it regardless.

Mou is being brought in to win the league or Ol’ Big Ears, not for domestic cups.
