Cameo against Watford would be good. Let's be honest, Poch won't play him in any other games.

He isn't going to play ahead of Vertonghen, Sanchez, Alderweireld and probably not even Dier at centre half in the league. He isn't even registered in our CL squad which leaves the League Cup and the FA Cup in January.

Given the age of both Vertonghen and Toby it's reasonable to assume we have recruited him to replace them. Poch has a delicate balancing act to do with our CB's. Addressing appropriate contract renewals for both Vertonghen and Toby, whilst minimising any drop in ability, experience etc. for those tipped to replace them.

If the answer is yes, play him and let any of the others drop out.
