...post in every thread. Doesn't mean you should.

Just because you can argue with someone doesn't mean you have to.

We have a policy of no banning, everyone knows this, but it's getting to the point that it's as if the forum belongs to a few people. The Fighting Cock gets accused of being egotistical but it's getting beyond a joke.

Seriously. Please pipe down a bit or go elsewhere.

That's all good and well Flav, but when people are goading you because you are to ill to go to matches it's a bit hard not to react.

instead of banning, can we impose no anonymity?

keyboard warriors tend to lose their bark when they have to use their real picture, name and/or twitter account.

very happy Flav made that post, couldn't agree more.

How do you prove its them in the photo and the name is real? And what if they dont have Twitter?

There is an ignore function. If you cant stand someone, ignore them.

where there's a will there's a way - you shouldn't have to ignore anyone, they should be able to conform to social norms, just because they're online doesn't mean rules don't apply.

the entire notion baffles me - why would you sign up to a website in order to offer oppinion completely anonymously under a sudonym in order to constantly talk shit and appear to get kicks off of creating an online argument? that's the real issue, the people the OP is aimed at seem to be inherently strange people.

I know the forum has to change from when it started, it was never going to stay as "free" as when there weren't many people here. But is the idea really that people should limit the amount of daily posts or something?

When certain people start arguing with everyone else I know a lot of shit will be written, but if the admins just had a problem with drawn out arguments wouldn't a pm to the people involved asking them to tone it down a bit be better? Just seems a bit harsh to tell people who post more that they should post less.
