Dunno if he's a donkey, but if in possession and any sort of smart or quick forwards sniffing about, its always gonna be an accident waiting to happen with himself and Vic on duty
depends what you class as a donkey, every time ive seen him he struggles to actually play football. yea, hes ok when hes just chucking his head into dangerous places....actually trying to play football and being sharp, he aint the one.
Difficult to disagree with anything you say there, if he was playing anytime before the mid 1990s would be a legend, but the game had moved on and awful lot since then. I like him as a personality, one of those guys that eeks every bit of (limited) potential he has out of himself, always important to have guys like that around.

Romero is a vastly better CB when on it than Danso. Danso would be a good starting CB for a team like Everton or West Ham.
yea he seems like a good bloke, his problem is, the CB's see sooo much of the ball now. they are basically failed CM's these days. he doesnt look mobile enough to me either. but yea, nice bloke it seems. not sure whos 3rd choice once dragusin is back, hopefully neither of them next year when vuskovic is back.
But we're actually below Everton in the league table. So maybe Romero isn't even on their level. For sure, the problem isn't Micky. Our CB problem must then be Romero. Because you can't argue we don't have a problem there.

VDV is not the complete CB he is being portraited as here. Huge talent and he will only get better, but he, just like Romero, makes too many mistakes.

If you didn't know already, no way would you have guessed that Romero is the captain of the team. A captain doesn't make decisions like that. Completely brain-dead, and not just once.

Danso wouldn't have let Ekitike taken him for a ride like Romero did. We need a strong defender. Not a school boy.

Danso is just an old school defender who likes the physical side of the game. On the ball he’s utterly hopeless.
As opposed to the new style hopeless at actually defending their goal ? Give me an actual midfield and Danso over the shit that has us 17th and 13th thanks. Lets give that a go and compare.
