Coz Danso isn’t a fucking maniac and is a very stout defender.
I think that's a deeper problem we've had with a lot of our player development.
So much so that; a few years into the mire, we're collectively trading off of raw, individual talent these days (and thus toiling massively).
You know before today we’ve won 1 in 14 with Danso starting. We fans is right lol. Obviously a much better record with Romero playing. Doesn’t sound that sane.
If Romero gets done for that Davenny booking, gets turned easily by mateta twice and then gets beaten in the air with that Mateta miss we would have the same posters plus the gooner saying for the 7375865445 time he’s a liability, they wouldn’t have erased it like theyve seemed to with Danso. He sliced the ball straight up into the air twice under not much pressure.
He was better second half to be fair to him

No one thinks hes Ledly King or Maldini. But id rather the slice up into the air than passing the ball directly to the oponents to score. I love the hiding behind the see he makes mistakes, yep but not trying to recover them and them directly costing goals is the important bit. I support Spurs not Christian Romero or Kevin Danso. So I'll play the percentages at present I can see who is edging it despite your cherry picked stats.
Shouldnt be a controversial opinion with how physical the league is this season.
it is when he looks like he struggles to run. danso is miles off this level, absolute miles. hes not mobile or technical enough.

Well Romero is back in the starting eleven so we will definitely play better I guess.
Romero was horrible. Tired of this farce.
He can defend well but he is limited
All we need right now is someone who doesn't make schoolboy errors every game. Danso sure has his limits, but he's aware of it. It's refreshing have a CB that doesn't cost the team a goal every game.

Need to pair him with an intelligent CB. Think Wimmer and Jan or Toby. Unfortunately, VdV doesn’t seem to be a leader of the defensive unit and Romero is Romero. Totally understand why he’s CB 3 /3 but he has a squad place and would do better wiht more time.
He is HG for EPL, NHG for UCL.
I don’t want to go in on him but he’s not reliable at all. Malen was allowed to take the ball on the half turn without any pressure. You see it in the first goal. Second goal he was a bit all over the place. Other times times he got caught flat footed.
People evidently don’t see these as mistakes. When he plays instead of Romero we drop deeper, we are more passive, we have less possession. These are things that affect the game massively. If that game didn’t highlight the quality difference between him and Romero, football isn’t for you.

I dont trust your impartiality. Because you fail to see worse from Romero. Id ideal like better than both but when I suggest people like Konsa, Guehi, Lacroix are clearly their superior the Romero glee club break out in hives.
Danso is a perfectly fine 3rd choice CB but he is not good enough to start.
He will likely be 4th choice once Vuskovic comes in.
I know Romero frustrates people but starting Danso is not the long-term solution ffs.
