What would you guess points would be?An away night somewhere decently accessible, with trains back to London afterwards, and presumably lowish points requirements given the cut-off for the PL game. I'm very happy with that!

For fuck sake.Just drew Wolves away in the 3rd round.
No fucken exuses then!!Ugh, you really need the first couple of rounds of this cup to be against championship or below teams if you want have a chance of progressing far. Really tricky draw for us. Imagine a season where we’re out of Europe and the League Cup before September is out. There’ll be a lot less Spurs games then usual to watch before Christmas
Wolves are not going to be in any trouble in the league and will probably see the league cup as a trophy they can have a run at, they will be full strength I should think. This games is between Wolves playing Brentford and Saints two games they will want their best eleven as 3 points will be the target each time ... can see a massively changed Wolves side for this one.
Same goes for us - game is between Chelsea and Woolwich derbies - full B team you would think.
Late 60's/early 70's - we were a real thorn in their side. They're going to hate us. Took their right back, took their manager, took Traore (probably). Already done them in the league this year.
It's tricky because they'll be up for this and we might not necessarily play our strongest 11.

Lucky team as well, they once played a game in the UEFA Cup against ADO Den Haag who scored three own goals in one half.Late 60's/early 70's - we were a real thorn in their side.
Knocked them out of the Cup in '69, the UEFA Cup final of course in '72 - and beat them in the League Cup semi finals the following season.
Mind you, they had a very good team back then - as Leeds fan will testify,
remember well those last 2 cup gamers. You're right, we always seemed to get the better of them even if they'd had the best of the game.Late 60's/early 70's - we were a real thorn in their side.

I don’t think that they will hate us for taking Doherty off their hands somehowThey're going to hate us. Took their right back, took their manager, took Traore (probably). Already done them in the league this year.

europa league intertoto isn’t a trophy . league cup isI feel you. We are just tired of winning trophies..
IMO importance this season...europa league intertoto isn’t a trophy . league cup is
Toughie, but very winnable, should be Liverpool, Chelsea, Woolwich & Us in the semis….Last season and this season would be West Ham’s version of “modern success” It would be unthinkable if they were to actually win a trophy in that time, even the league cup….we had our “modern success” for 3 or 4 seasons under Pochettino and came away empty handed….Quarter-final draw in full
Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham
Woolwich v Sunderland
Brentford v Chelsea
Liverpool v Leicester City
