The Leicester season was worse. It seemed we played every Monday in the run in.
 
And so it begins...

I have two self imposed rules for the season.
1. No more pre match score predictions, it never goes well. (Erm, apart from the prediction league...doh!)
2. I'm going in hard with the ignore list. 3 strikes and you're out for nasty abuse of our own players without redeeming wit or wisdom. Don't have the time for either reading it or arguing about it.

This should pave the way for an enjoyable season. 🤞

Hoping to see Bergvall over Sarr tomorrow, want to see how he cuts it in the prem; I have high hopes. Although I've seen so many people write Leicester off, it's now making me nervous...

Really hate having to wait this long!
 
Here’s why I see this as a must win- they are terrible, almost guaranteed bottom 3. They have injuries to key players. Their manager seems absolutely bewildered at the moment about how to set them up. They completely lack goal threat. Their own fans thoughts about Monday night are how much they will be beaten by.

We have zero injuries.

If we can’t win this one, then we are not going to be challenging for a CL spot via the league this season - I am confident of that.

Our opening 2 games are the softest of any sides - if these were pre season you’d be worried that we’re not preparing ourselves properly for the real thing
 
This is the sort of game that will deter how well we'll do this year.
Promoted teams always come out the traps quickly and pick up points at the start of the season so it's important to match them for aggression.
It'll be close but I believe we will pick up 3 points.

I'm just hoping we fucking destroy them so that the away fans can crack out "you're fucking shit" and I can hear it clearly through the telly.

I like the idea but wondering if you will be sat in splendid isolation by the end of the season.

Can't wait to see Bergvall in the Premier but thinking a second half sub appearance will be the way.
 
Hopefully this is more or less our Monday night quota for the season. For my money the second worse kick off slot, marginally better than the absolute travesty that is the Friday night slot.

You didn’t ask, but fuck it I am going to list my preference of kick off times best to worst

Saturday 3pm
Saturday 1230
Sunday 4/2pm - makes no difference that 2 hours
Sunday 12 - steaming bag of piss
Monday night - they need to do away with this one, stick a championship game on instead
Friday night - absolutely cunting travesty of the highest order. Rob’s you of a proper weekend match - shit to try and get to and from. Some no mates, no mark cunt thought this kick off slot up

Not liking Johnson, but I want Deki to play in the middle.
