I'm not "Levy Out", I'm "Show me an economically sustainable plan where ambition to compete at the top level is prioritised". I don't care if it's ENIC or someone else, I just want it to happen.
It's no good if ENIC sell up to an owner who isn't any better or possibly worse. My father always said "Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it."
If ENIC bring in a new manager, refresh the playing squad and take us to the next level where we're consistently competing for (and sometimes winning) trophies, I'm good.
And, so far, ENIC have taken us to those higher levels. I can't deny that there have been mistakes along the way but we've come a long way from Hoddle's OAPs. We've gone from mid-table fodder to regularly qualifying for Europe to regularly qualifying for the CL to contesting a CL Final. All these changes have happened on Levy's watch.
As far as I'm concerned, any credible bid for the club must demonstrate how it will improve on what ENIC have already done, where their money is coming from and how they intend to serve the best interests of the club.
