Yeah, just enjoy & see the highs as a bonus & move on quick from the lows & remember it’s just football !
What I want from the next manager is entertaining football. I've not enjoyed watching Spurs for a long time now - prob since towards the end of Poch's reign. Make Spurs entertainers again. Make the football something to look forward to and I'll be happy.

We won't win every game so let's at least go for it and enjoy watching something other than the dour dross we've been getting the last few seasons.

If Levy can give me that then he's alright in my book!

I don’t care if levy goes but I’ll go in a levy thread & attack people for criticising him. Whilst staying quiet on people defending him. Same way many levy lovers started out like Shadydan & steeve.
This is very true.
Not many, if any, venture in to this thread claiming to "not give a rat's arse" whether Levy stays or goes....
Then start questioning why so many people spend so many hours and days here endlessly defending and supporting him.

The "ENIC neutral" paradox

But you can also understand those fans who think we are a big club and have a right to expect more than just "entertaining football" and to compete and actually win trophies and titles once in a while?

Do you think it's realistic or reasonable for the owners to construct a 60,000 multi sports and entertainment complex, at our football clubs expense, charge the highest prices in the world, and then expect our supporters to be content so long as the football is pretty?

No offence mate, but if so, I think we probably deserve our small time, laughing stock status.

We're one of the wealthiest, best supported clubs in the country.

I think we deserve a bit more to be honest with you.

Club has already spent 450 million of its own money on the stadium. But at least the Miami Dolphins had somewhere to do an announcement for the NFL draft.

Why are we doing this dance again? We've had exactly the same conversation before.

Of course I want to win stuff.

When Jose and Conte were brought in the football was awful but I wouldn't have cared if we won stuff.

But we didn't win. We didn't win even after sacrificing entertaining football.

So let's start making it our thing to play good football. Entertaining football. Hopefully it'll lead to trophies but even if it doesn't, at least we look forward and enjoy watching the matches.

Ahh. OK. Just that a few minutes ago, you said as long is the football is entertaining, you're happy with Levy.

You know. Like that was your only criteria for being happy with the owners.

Apologies if I misunderstood.
Sorry it was my attempt at humour. I'll put a smiley next time...with a winky gif...and an arrow pointing to the text with the note 'This is tongue-in-cheek'.

Its 'own money'

Eh?

They borrowed the money on our backs buddy.

Enic have spent about 26m of their 'own money' and that was to buy the club.

The rest has been off us.
I think that's probably what he means mate. It's still ultimately our football club, and our football club only, that's paying for their multi purpose stadium.
All the loans are levied (excuse the pun) against the club

Yeah I’d say that’s likely people all think levy’s notoriously tight but he spends money paying people to defend him on a fucking internet forum!

:dembelelol: :dembelelol: :dembelelol: :dembelelol: :dembelelol:
I didn't think it was likely at all but its hard to believe the amount of time people will spend doing the mental gymnastics to defend the horror show that the football side the club has become.
You think Levy is tight then?

Especially as our team suits attacking football far more than defensive.

Cunts!!!!!

Hiring anti Spurs managers time and time again. Mason today was more Spurs than everything that has happened in the last 4-5 years.

Yea our defenders are shit but we played with bottle, we tried to play with the ball. What a fucking disaster this period has been for the club, as bad as anything in my nearly 40 years with this club.

I actually watched the game today and saw us play football. I have only seen that a few dozen times in several years. It made me care again in a real way.

Imagine being Harry Kane or Son and wasting the best years of your playing career on this horrible shite?

Kane has scored 25 goals in this team.

Sunak should put Kane forward for a knighthood.

Enic & levy have wasted them both especially kane when you consider how long we have had him & nothing to show for it.

Levy and Scott Munn spotted at London City Airport earlier today. Per the reddit thread where I found this tweet, a plane for Düsseldorf departed from their terminal not long after.

Düsseldorf is roughly a 40 minute drive from Colonge, where Nagelsmann's agent is based. Make of that what you will.
