Levy In or Levy Out

Levy is a businessman first and foremost. We’re a business not a competitive money-sink club, and are playing in a league with basically zero legitimate financial controls, with a number of billionaire money sink clubs.

We lost our only productive attacker and retained our least productive attacker (Son). Then we made him captain. Then we changed to a system making our other attacker worse (Kulu). Other squad deadwood has failed to have been moved and so we sit here mid-transformation not having been overhauled- mostly just missing our best attacker of last year.

It’s just disheartening enough that I don’t have any sort of real hopes for success this season. 6-7th would constitute real success for me.

Levy just holds his assets too long, retains too much of control on transfers, and has no understanding or vision of how actual football is played. That’s how we can end up with in-cutting wing-forwards, in a system designed for outside wingers, with a striker needing service more than anything else.

I don’t know what the answer is exactly, but it won’t come from Levy.
Gerald Ratner was a businessman , so was Robert Maxwell. I have said it many times Levy thinks he is the smartest guy in the room , in my opinion it’s a massive part of his character that has led to countless errors

I don't know how many posts I've seen in the past week vindicating Levy and forcing Levy Out supporters see the Error of their ways.

I'm a Self Confessed Levy Out Supporter, I so I tried to jot down things I need to possibly relook from a different angle:

I should Look at the numerous Trophies we have won.
I should be Happy that so many managers have all been verbal about How Levy has backed them every transfer window.
I should Look at the 200 million in Deadwood players in our squad as a future investment and admire Levy as they were mostly his choice.
I should be Greatfull that we have a DOF (Consultant ) who was found guilty of transgressing FIFA financial rules and is on suspension elsewhere.
I should be Greatfull that Managers who won trophies at every club they been at did not so by us.
I should be Greatfull for of the highest ticket prices in the League.
I must be Greatfull that I have been given the privilege of contributing to the enormous growth of Levy and ENICs real estate and financial portfolio.
I must be Greatfull that we have a F1 Go Cart track that I probably won't afford to ever use.
I must be Greatfull for the privilege of having Beyonce perform at our stadium.
I must be Greatfull for the privilege of the NFL football stadium, especially because I have no interest in NFL football.
I must be Happy that we didn't build a league winning team around the world's best Striker and now we have lost him to an arguably inferior League.
I must be Greatfull that we waited until one day before our first League game for the Sale of our striker.
I must be Greatfull that it took us two months of haggling to buy a new CB that we payed full price for in any case.
I must be Greatfull that we didn't line up a replacement striker despite knowing that our no 1 striker will be leaving.

After jotting it down I can now see that things aren't so bad at Spurs, I need to change my perception slightly and all will be well.

After all:
Our stadium food vendors boasts the nicest Vegan Hot Dogs.
We have a beautiful art Gallery, a Shopping mall and soon Executive Apartments to match.

What More Could a Football Lover Ask for?

The idiots that still defend the owners need to be made to read this and then tell us Why they defend them.
I mentioned this a few pages back. We could list a hundred reasons for wanting Levy out, they're not so keen on telling us their reasons for wanting him to stay.

Unless they're secretly Gooners or Chavs, (and I don't believe they are, I try to steer clear of punching below the belt with such childish insults). ..It's like an irrational love for someone has for their abuser.

What Kane, Hoddle, Ricky, Greaves, and Blanchflower are to us, Levy is to them!!!!

Irrational (but fascinating, nonetheless)

It's like a weird form of Stockkholm syndrome, the more crap decisions Levy and co make the more they defend/love them

No but, it's always reactive with Levy theres never a plan. Levy knew Kane wanted out and should have set the wheels in motion by getting a replacement ready to sign. Levy should have said to Bayern you want Kane you have until 31st July to pay the asking price or no deal.
An offer for our first choice replacement should have been made formal the minute Kane signed for Bayern.

Was just reading on the Trust Twitter feed about the ticket price increase- out of interest I went to the Spurs site to see how much a ticket for the Man Utd game would cost in my section - 256, safe standing. £78 is the answer!!!! £78 to stand behind the goal- it was £2 when I started regularly attending matches in 1982. Taking inflation into account that’s about £25 in todays money.
£78!??? Fuck ENIC, fuck Lewis, fuck Levy- they care not one iota about us and I care even less for them.

We should have put this season first and what happens next season would have been up to Kane. It will be interesting to look in a few months time at what good the money has done us. It will be either sitting in the Bank or spent on a new goal scorer who we can then judge if it was money well spent.
Do you think we may have already have spent it on Maddison, VDV, etc, etc?
