The fact of the matter is, we went into the season with a poor squad.

Vicaro was exposed last season as weak and hesitant.

Dragusin and Davies are not at the level required to be backup centre backs, especially given Romero and VDVs injury history.

Spence and Reguillon both known to not be good enough as full back cover. Spence has improved somewhat, but going into the season, we knew he wasn't at the level required.

In midfield, we have away an experienced Holjberg and put in an 18 year old with zero experience at this level. We knew Bentencaur was coming off a very bad knee injury and Bissouma wasn't good enough.

We knew how poor Werner is.

Solanke is not an elite striker. Richarlison perma injured. Remains to be seen if Odobert has any quality.

You can sack as many coaches as you like, but every single one of them leaves with the same comment - I wasn't given the players I needed to succeed.

90M of the money we give to the club for our season tickets and shirts are being spent on real estate development projects? To build out ENIC’s real estate portfolio?!?

It is a question the few remaining Levy supporters constantly refuse to address.
If we, as a club, are spending a lower proportion of our turnover on player salaries than not just every other club in the Premier League, but also every club across Europe......Where is that proportion of of income actually going

Even Leeds Uniteds owners are worth 7 billion and Elland Road is to be expanded to 56,000 shortly. Newcastle has a 70,000 seater stadium on the way, Man Utd 100,000. Not to mention Everton going up to 54,000.

Every year our competitive advantage is being eroded as Levy and Co run out of cash. This club has grown to big for them and they have taken it as far as they can.

It’s difficult for a manager to say this really as he has to keep players he has happy & he probably wants to keep his job .

I doubt Harry has ecstatic about Nelsen or Campbell too but if what you’re offered is the only option to freshen up the squad , you’ll probably take it.

Yes. AVB said he didn't get any of his transfer targets - specifically Moutinho who he wanted to build the squad around, yet the club only regarded him as 6th on the list of targets.

Conte said the club was weakened after the 2022 transfer window leading to a request for him to avoid Italian media interviews, as he hinted at insufficient squad investment.

Premier league is a global status symbol like owning a Bugatti, every rich billionaire with an ego wants one. It’s why the ‘sustainable’ model is completely useless, we will never sustainably generate what is needed to compete and even if we did Levy would spend it on magic beans. Club needs investment which it hasn’t really had since before Sugar. Nearly 40 years of ‘sustainability’.
