Doesn't really. Best leave politics out of this and go and rant about your tory hatred in off topic

I think you will find the majority of the country dislike the Tories mate, it isn't exactly a fringe opinion at this point, I would hardly call it "hatred" that seems biased and like I hit a nerve imo.

Also it's relevant in this situation because it's a group of people that have run out of ideas, overstayed their welcome and only know how to make decisions that benefit themselves rather than others.

Who cares - Levy’s personality doesn’t really matter. None of us deal with him to day. Being “unlikeable” makes it easier to heap scorn on him - but if his work produced a football club that won trophies, none of us would care about his personality.

Obviously, the real issue is that he’s completely incompetent when it comes to footballing side of the business - His recent manager hires and transfer business have been appalling. People keep saying he’s stepping back but he was clearly all over our transfer business this summer. Also, he is spending money but strangely won’t push the boat out to get top players (really depressing to see Red Scum spend 100M quid on Rice this summer). Since he (and his underlings) are bad at identifying talent why doesn’t he just go for proven players ffs.

He needs to go - either sell or just join his buddy Joe Lewis far away from England and the footballing operations of the club. We are not winning anything as long as he continues to micro manage the club.
I do agree with this, the underlying and fundamental issue is that he doesn't have the ability to make the correct decisions to move this football club forward, it's all very hit and miss with Levy, hence the political comparison I made.

We need consistent smart decisions that improve the club, it's always one step forward, two steps back with him and ENIC.

The common thread is austerity as a fundamentally mistaken path to nowhere.

And very, very short people in charge.

Imagine where we might be if Paul Barber stayed and took the role of CEO/Chairman?

It's the failure to recognise the mistakes being made as well, it's ego driven and born from a privileged mindset imo.

Also probably because he has a lot of bootlickers around him afraid to say he isn't doing a good job.

Imagine thinking you can continue doing the same thing that has failed, time and time again and expecting a different outcome?

Unless of course, Levy doesn't see any of this as failure because his ambitions aren't the same as the supporters, players or managers...

At this point to be honest I think Levy mostly recognizes the problems, he's just uniquely ill-suited to fixing any of them.

New Director of Football, any day now!

Yeah, you're probably right but he seems to ignore the DOF recommendations if that article is accurate anyway so...
The big picture is that all the revenue opportunities for a Premier League club with the best matchday revenue facility in Europe exist at the top of the competitive scale. No one loses more potential money from going quiet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays than Spurs.

The project has been built to have someone shoot for the stars. That ain't ever going to be ENIC. The best price they're ever going to get is right now to someone willing to exploit what they've built to its full potential.

Otherwise we're just going to fanny about ad infinitum as the competition gets ever stronger.

I dislike all of them for various reasons and that's the problem with politics. There really isn't a party that has everyone's best interests at heart. And the public themselves only vote for parties who represent themselves.

None of that has anything to do with Spurs

Agreed, I think it's indisputable at this point.

I don't have a favourable political party either but I am a firm believer in change after stagnation has set in because it allows for new ideas.

I have already explained why the comparison is fair though, I am not a fan of involving politics in football discussion either but there is a clear connection in the way the current government approach and handle issues and the way Levy/ENIC handle issues.

like I said, it's from the same playbook.

Was just reading on the Trust Twitter feed about the ticket price increase- out of interest I went to the Spurs site to see how much a ticket for the Man Utd game would cost in my section - 256, safe standing. £78 is the answer!!!! £78 to stand behind the goal- it was £2 when I started regularly attending matches in 1982. Taking inflation into account that’s about £25 in todays money.
£78!??? Fuck ENIC, fuck Lewis, fuck Levy- they care not one iota about us and I care even less for them.

And it’s only going to get more expensive.

The article is really showing people's agendas. Ignoring any positive things that might go against their boogeyman and just focusing on things that confirm their bias.
Name one thing Levy has done for the team, just one? As far as most Spurs fans are concerned any success on the pitch has come in inspite of Levy not because of him.
No one disputes Levy's a successful business man but, after 23 years he knows fuck all about football.

And it’s only going to get more expensive.
That’s one of the reasons I stopped going. Not that I can’t afford it but is it really value for 90 minutes of football? An overpriced pint and the admittedly decent food in the stadium don’t really add that much to the experience.
I pay enough for Sky, BT etc I can watch the games from the comfort of my own home so forking out for the match day experience doesn’t seem like value for money any more.

What’s your plan to stop people from continuing to bad mouth your hero?

If Levy wants to stay, he’ll stay - no one on this message board power has the power to make him go - Just like you don’t have the power to stop people from making negative statements about Levy on the Fighting Cock message board (even though the scorn heaped on your man clearly bothers you ALOT).

My hero?

Lie about me again fella and I won’t rest until I’ve removed your ass from this forum forever.

But if you want to play that game…how about you fuck off back to Woolwich mania where you belong, Sol. Nobody likes you.
