We're going to finish lower this season than we did under 10 years of Alan Sugar. We all remember what he was like. After 24 years that is some legacy.

He's losing out on financial performance from lost merit payments both domestic and European, and potentially lost bonuses from the big sponsors.

No doubt he sure is. But he's also likely weighing on multiple fronts and the broken clause on Ange's contract once he's out of Europa should be more favourable to him all things considered.
The chairman did not get a bonus last year and there should, be an outcry if he gets one this year.
There will not be 3 clubs as bad as Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich next season. If this mob do not do something major in the summer we will not be this “lucky” next year. I believe I heard on the postgame that of the bottom 8 clubs, only Ipswich and we have not sacked our managers.

Chances are there will be, there's a considerable gap between the Champo and the Prem which is ever increasing.
And it's virtually impossible that a club like ours go down, this season is a total anomaly for many reasons.
My opinion we need to make at least one premier wing signing, and probably a hybrid ST/winger that can provide credible cover should Solanke get injured.
Not saying that I would want to buy these exact two players, but they would cover what we need: Kudus (RW) and Delap (ST/LW).
We need to ensure we survive and aim to finish in European spots or just outside them this next year. After 1 more season of development, our young core should be really ready to cook. We could see this group start for us 26/27:

Berg-Gray
Udog-VdV-Danso-Djed

Add in 1 or 2 mystery future purchases to improve that and it could be a really exciting side to see play. This and next aren't our seasons of glory; we need to prepare for the future 1-2 seasons away.
I agree but the club still has to actually do enough to ensure that can't possibly happen. And this season, refusing to fire a horribly bad coach, I believe they are capable of any sort of fuck up you can imagine.
I'm sure he'll know those numbers and already be playing some sort of sick ticketing brinksmanship with it- to maximize returns and profits or whatever. You can pretty much always count on Levy for that sort of cynicism.

He knows it’s done, everyone does but I think he wants to show some faith and give him a chance in the Europa (he’s still aware of the criticism of sacking Jose before a final). Probably thinks injuries have hurt Ange and with players back, they might turn it around as well as Agnes second season revised (which IMO has absolutely no bearing on likely Europa League winning)
We could make 0 signings and keep this manager, we still wouldn't go down.
