Fair enough for winning a trophy.
Ah okay.

No not for me. I don’t feel it’s enough of a return for some of the things that have happened over his tenure. I accept no team (or supporter) has a god given right to trophies or success but we have been expected to accept a lot of shit over the years. Transfer window activity at zero two consecutive windows. Selling of assets such as Bale and Kane and replacements not up to par.

Sure the ground was a mission for ENIC and is fantastic but the promise of it ensuring we can compete on a level with the top teams has been a myth.

Some of the most expensive season tickets in Europe. I could go on but those are just some of the reasons why it isn’t “fair enough” for me.

I'm afraid Capology is just as bad as other similar sites. According to Capology Eric Dier is earning less at Bayern than he was at Spurs.

Also according to Capology , Richarlison has not had a pay rise in basic pay since 2018-19 season.

And if you look at the current wages of our squad on Capology , Archie Gray is earning exactly the same wage , £75,000 per week as seasoned international player Bentancur, which hardly seems likely.

No club releases the wage bill of it's first team squad but every club does release a total wage bill for all employees at their club , these are all available in accounts submitted to HMRC and Companies House so are pretty accurate unless you are Abramovitch.

In the last accounts Spurs wage bill was £221.9 million but what percentage of that goes to the first team squad nobody knows . That 42% wage/revenue figure often bandied around is correct but applies to the whole workforce at Spurs not what the first team squad is getting compared to other squads but clubs like Man U & Liverpool etc are paying higher than Spurs.

The only pay packet you can accurately measure is Levy's , he was paid £3,728,000 in the last accounts, total directors wage bill was £5,068,000 so that leaves £1,340,000 for the other directors.
All the player's salaries are estimates unless the player, agent, or club, provide disclosure we don't know for sure what any player earns. The thing we do know is Levy is driving down the wage bill by investing in younger players, that behaviour could mean there's issues with wages that need to be addressed.

We're on course for our lowest league position in 50 years.
A club that's spent all but one of the last 75 seasons in England's Top Tier is about to avoid relegation by one position.

Three Cheers for Mr Levy

I think of him as a running cold sore contaminating everything he touches from a football perspective . They disappear for a bit , Harry and Poch era but always come back as virulent and as unpleasant as ever .

No, I don’t get cold sores before someone recommends an ointment for it

That’ll sort it

Everyone wants us to win the cup but I doubt what people post on a forum or think in the crowd about either will make a blind bit of difference Everyone wants us to win . You don’t think people disliking either will stop them supporting Spurs do you ?

I don’t know , are there spurs fans who want us to lose on Wednesday to say “ I told you so “ ?

I want us to batter Man U but I want them both gone

You've been on this forum long enough to know the answer to that!

I really don’t buddy … maybe I scroll past them , I only have one person on ignore & that’s because of his racism & low IQ . I’ve read a lot who hate & get angry but no one who wants us to lose .

It’s 100% not having a pop at you but the sensationalism of “ Truce “

It's difficult to believe and understand that Spurs don't have the resources to finish above 17th in the league, because we were also deep into a cup competition. It's like no other team has ever got to a final before and also done well in their league placing.

If we don't get 40 points (the typical benchmark to avoid relegation) it will be a disgrace for a club with our resources, our stadium and the amount of money that we have spent on players over the last 10 years.

I'd actually say that you had to really work at it, as owners, to take our club backwards, this fast, in the past 5 years.

Loads of posters have hoped we'd lose games over the years on this forum, including the clown that liked your post.

There's no way you have never read those posts.
