Isn’t he normally a 2 season then leave manager.

He’s not going to want to stay either - a severance is inevitable. He’s obviously sussed out the board are incompetent charlatansI’m Leaving by mutual decision would be the best for all parties after the Brighton game.
The optics of sacking him straight after winning the Europa League are the optics of a club saying "thanks for your efforts, but 20+ League defeats and a 4th from bottom finish is totally unacceptable. The door is over there.Whilst I disagree , if we did win it the optics of sacking our most successful manager would be horrendous and who ever replaces him would just bin off the cups and make sure we get 4th next season.
I’d live nothing more than Ange to prove us all wrong and win 6/6 if that happened but I just don’t think he is the right guy for the job and has the bottom 3 this season been at least competitive we would have gone down.
Fkin hope notOne of the STs who sits by me seems to have a lot of info sometimes... he says Ange will get the first 6 PL games next season before a decision is made, if he wins the EL.
Are you an author for ENIC?I image the end of season message will be something like this unless we win the EL in which case the whole message will be just that;
Dear Spurs fans,
This season has been challenging and finishing 17th is not where we want to be. But winning is hard, and as always, we can only spend what we earn. We remain focused on sustainable growth and ensuring the club is built for long-term success.
We will review and restructure this summer, seeking the right value-for-money changes to strengthen the squad. We are committed to our footballing philosophy, even if results haven’t reflected it.
Your support remains invaluable, and while patience is needed, we are determined to improve.

The board and Ange are a match made in heaven i.e. same mediocrity, but sadly, there's collateral from that i.e. a football team and the fans. He’s not going to want to stay either - a severance is inevitable. He’s obviously sussed out the board are incompetent charlatans
I thought that was established a long time ago, there was little or no ambition to compete at the top.The optics of sacking him straight after winning the Europa League are the optics of a club saying "thanks for your efforts, but 20+ League defeats and a 4th from bottom finish is totally unacceptable. The door is over there.
Keeping him on would show us up as an utter shambles of a club with zero ambition to compete at the top
Great post. Palace just beating city & winning the fa cup is another example of that. Levy/ENIC & the levy lovers hiding behind the “we shouldn’t expect trophies as we can’t compete with the super rich teams like city”. Liverpool only bought chiesa & won the title. Newcastle have won the league cup & although spent a good amount, nothing crazy. Inter & psg in the CL final with a psg team who got rid of expensive mbappe & an inter team who haven’t spent huge amounts. Our FFP even if followed to the letter wouldn’t stop us spending. I think it was Swiss Ramble the online football accountant that said we could spend a few hundred million no problem. It comes down to Levy not wanting to dilute his shares to bring in investment, he wants the biggest pay off ever when he sells which is guess is what he wants, but our ownership model is not set for success. You don’t need to be oil barons to grow, look at Brighton or Brentford, league one teams smashing the PL. club badly needs change.
Yep palace won it. 24 years or whatever & they have won a bigger trophy than us. Don’t tell me we can’t compete with palace & that a league cup every 20+ years is good enough. We can & should do better. Starting with the europa in a few daysThe other thing that annoys me about the enic & levy lovers is they think trophies are so difficult & you need to be amazing to win one. Us or united will win the europa & have been rubbish this season. City or palace will win the fa cup without being that good. PSG or inter will win the CL without being amazing. In fact psg scraped through & had to go in to a play off. Newcastle haven’t been superb & won the league cup. Slot in his 1st season won the league with plenty of holes in that team. I don’t know anyone who expected them to win the title. In fact many thought they would be poor & suffer from losing Klopp.
Ten haags united was seen as useless & in just a few years won double what enic/levy managed & they have had 25 years. I fancy us to win the europa but obviously united step up a lot in finals so I am wary!
My hope is we win the Europa……
Enic/levy, ang & son all go out a high & a good note. We wipe our league efforts from our mind. & enjoy the Europa cup victory & CL qualification. & a fresh start with component owners & ambitious ones.
But I just know levy/enic will feel justified if we win a trophy & then double down on the shambles they have created. The levy fans will do the same. & the fans who were getting restless will go back to being easily pleased. So they get away with it again. Logically a europa cup win shouldn’t cover up the cracks. But levy lovers have never been keen on logic.
City bought all their titles & we can’t compete with them. Spending big is a waste of time etc.
If we win the Europa I hope people will realise we aren’t some small team. We can & should win things far more than we do under enic & levy.
Yeah. Would just provide even more confirmation I guess. Binning off the likes of Conte, Poch and Mourinho to give this buffoon a 4 year contract in the first place was proof enough.I thought that was established a long time ago, there was little or no ambition to compete at the top.
You have to feel for the poor cunt who comes in next.Yeah. Would just provide even more confirmation I guess. Binning off the likes of Conte, Poch and Mourinho to give this buffoon a 4 year contract in the first place was proof enough.
They could well get lucky again a la Poch - 2 in 28 managers is about right. They don’t have a fucking clue and don’t contribute shitYou have to feel for the poor cunt who comes in next.
Unless ENIC go it's more of the same.

One of the Levy / ENIC fans favourite arguments used to be that under their ownership we were "Punching above our weight"Yep palace won it. 24 years or whatever & they have won a bigger trophy than us. You hear it less because we aren’t.One of the Levy / ENIC fans favourite arguments used to be that under their ownership we were "Punching above our weight"
As we look up at the likes of Palace, Brentford and Bournemouth etc its not an argument you hear quite so much![]()
This is a rebuttal? You hear it less because we aren’t.
A lot of people change their opinions by taking into account the present situation. It’s really quite normal.
Today, the weather has been fabulous. I’ve been cutting around the place in shorts and t-shirt. If it rains tomorrow, I may change my mind.
I don't think your post is the winner you thought it was.
Does it read like one?
Some sort of bubbling shit.
So why get involved?
I was drunk.
