If the manager walks in the morning, he should be followed through the door by the architect of the under invested mess humiliated on the pitch tonight.
higher net spend that CL winning Liverpool. who spent nothing worth considering this summer, and have gone off like a train

lets face it, your still butt hurt we never moved to the Olympic stadium. you set your teeny little heart on it, and it got broken. so now you just whine on.

even then, look in the actual nett column, we spent more. by about 2 million

Just to say, on the liverpool point, that until last summer, Klopps net spend was 700k. Less than a million. They spent a lot last summer, and balanced that with fuck all this.

According to this site our net in the past 5 seasons is higher than theirs. (Obviously that can change in the next 7 days)..the clear implication being that they have just spent it better

Money and stuff
Our net spend over the last 5 years is higher. Remember, they've been sell to buy as well, and last summer it's fairly clear they spent most of this summer's budget
hes been backed more than Klopp has. Over the period Klopp has been at Liverpool, our net spend is higher
Our net spend over the time Klopp has been at Liverpool is higher than theirs is.
Weve had a higher net spend than liverpool in the time klopps been there. Hes spent it better
Yeah. Just look what Liverpool did last season with TAA and Robertson. ...

Honest John Honest John You supported the move to Stratford?!
Yes. At the time I was in the minority fighting the backlash against Levy because it seemed the move to Stratford was the only feasible option.
There were those who threatened boycotting the club while I thought maybe we should cut him some slack.
It was never my preferred option. But I recognised the need to move to a bigger stadium outweighed the sentiment of staying in the confines of Tottenham.
Much like I supported his decision to play a cup tie at Milton Keynes.
A great opportunity to widen our ever growing fan base
A brave decision against a backlash of abusive threats (to Levy)
Like I always said. Praise where its due. Criticism where warranted.
An even handed approach.

You see the difference here.

I'll show support for Levy or anyone when I percieve there intent as beneficial to the club..
Kind of pisses all over your theory of my anti Levy agenda though doesn't it.
You have an anti-Levy agenda. That is undeniable. If you don't like Levy, you have an anti-Levy agenda.

Just like I have an anti-scum agenda. Because I don't like the scum.

Personally, I just don't see how the Stratford move was ever going to benenficial to the club as you say.

But anything stadium based is iffy for you, so I'll let you off.

Indeed. I appreciate the honesty. It's just revealing how you glorify the traditions of Spurs when you were once willing to abandon it all for a move out of Tottenham. A move that would have made us no better than the Scum.

Maybe I don't know you so well after all.
You've never met me. So you dont know me at all

So I won't be expecting you to bow before me and apologise for years of falsely claiming I have some personal vendetta against Daniel Levy

Levy has maneuvered us into the strong position we're now in. I acknowledge the barren run, but also recognise that we're in the best shape to fix that now.

Poch knew the constraints that he'd be operating under when he joined. Although the two transferless windows have definitely hamstrung us, Poch had three top signings in the summer and it's just bad luck that Lo Celso and Sessegnon are injured, and unsurprising Ndombele is taking his time to adjust.

For me, Levy's biggest fault in recent years is not taking care of the contract issues we're having with the Ajax boys. But delivering over the summer with the signings shows that lessons are being learned. Honestly, another transferless window now that we're home would be enough to put me in the Levy Out camp, but I just cannot see that happening again.

Levy's problem is he always has to win a deal, that doesn't work in football transfers, look at how he drags it to the last minute to get the best deal for him, that doesn't work in football, each match is either 3pts or cup win, if a new player isn't really to play because you got him last minute of transfer window and you lose that's 3pts gone forever
we could have got Grealish for£20m but Levy though villa are in big trouble i'll get it down to £15m, what happen someone brought villa and we would have to pay £40 m for him
in the Leicester season if we had got Charlie Austin in winter transfer window we may have got some of the 16pts we lost and maybe won the league, if we hadn't won the league we could have sold him for most of what we paid

Levy's style is really outdated now & that is why he loses in deals which means we lose. Bad at contract negotiations, selling players & signing players. Overall he has been pretty poor at it all for the last few years. How many key players & 1st teamers are running down their contracts? If that was Woolwich we would be saying how much of a shambles it is.
& poch keeps saying he wants signings in early so they are ready for the start of the season. Instead we get levy haggling most of the summer so we end up with players joining very late which obviously limits their impact for a while. Like you say, what he saves isn't worth bad results. To be honest overall I don't think he does save. Teams know we are desperate to sign players & it's got to the last day so times running out. That has as much of an impact as people saying the selling club are desperate to sell so will lower the price. Overall he doesn't save us anything, instead we just get late signings or miss out on them.
Also because he tries to push the selling price unrealistically high, we miss out on selling unwanted players & getting a transfer fee. We also then have to carry on paying their wages too. Like if we get an extra million for wanyama next summer with the new team paying his wages, we have actually lost out because we would have spent more than a million on his wages & we have an unwanted player hanging around. We desperately need someone else handling transfers & contracts as it's 1 of levy's weaknesses. Always ends up causing tension & problems between him & the manager. & will continue to do so until levy admits he just isn't very good at it & let's someone else do it.

Everyone but Levy eh.?

So predictable.

Fucking miracle he made top 4 with a 37 goal a season striker and the most productive midfeilder in Europe who is irreplaceable and we kept but he dropped because Levy didnt sign a player 18 months ago.
