Can you go through our rivals squads and tell me which players are vastly superior to ours.

If you can list more than 5 in every entire squad, then you have an ounce of credibility otherwise you are just talking shit and it will be laid bare.

Our squad is apparently terrible and can’t we keep up. So there must be at the very least 11 players much better than ours in each of the squads I put up.

I’ll let you find five. You get bonus points if you can name Woolwich’s back up RB without google too. Ya know, seeing as he’s ten times better than KWP and all that.

Despite numerous pleadings for support, he got nothing. Sweet Fuck All, my friend.

And here we are today.
The spine of our team playing out their contract. 4 top players unconvinced by the chairman that this is the place to be.
A squad that was left to go stagnant and stale through the complacency of the board.
A manager having to play want away players rather than a refreshed, rejuvinated squad.......

And while reflecting, ask yourself this.

Why would a football fan spend so much of his time hating and spitting venom at the players and manager of his beloved team, while completely covering his eyes to the errors and mistakes of the owners.

Regardless of the outcome of todays match, it's as clear as day that a fantastic over achieving manager and his busted over acheiving squad don't just turn from title contenders to relegation form jokers in the space of just 9 months.

Unless something is inherently rotten at the top.

Levy sees his dream materialise tomorow as the financial gravy train hits new heights.

The talent is exactly the same as it was 9 months ago. It's all about the whole club collectively underperforming.

No away win in 9 months and 6 PL wins in 20 games isn't down to the chairman, a chairman who has given the manager £405m to spend during his tenure.

Most things at the club need a shake up to blame the chairman solely for me don't wash.

And some people blame Poch for that too.

People can argue all they like on where most of the blame should lie. But one thing they can't argue is that our downfall started immediately after Levy disappeared for 2 transfer windows. That's a fact.

The key pieces at the club - Levy, Pochettino and the players - all have a part to play in this debacle, unfortunately papered over by the Champions League run.

Levy ultimately has final responsibility, and it's now down to him to figure out how he's going to sort all of this out, knowing his UCL revenue stream next season is at real risk and he'll have a group of players leaving on free transfers. Poch has shown himself to be bereft of ideas, tactics or otherwise, to reorganise and motivate the players. And the players, they seemingly lost all semblance of professional pride and drive and should get their pay slashed for poor performance.

Grim stuff for the club and the fans.

But when Poch didn’t even look at a replacement and said Aurier and KWP was enough, his happy clappers clapped.

They clapped Sanchez at RB because of our heroic performance at the Emirates where we did better than last season too.

They said we had far superior RBs to Trippier on the bench, yet it was still Levys fault that Poch played the “Champo” RB?
Then they paaaartaaayed when he was sold.

But now the superior ones also need replacing?
Didn’t hear that in the summer....I heard we needed a CM. Check.

I heard Eriksen should be kept at all costs. Check.

Damn Levy, why did he force Poch to drop the best midfielder in Europe.

And are you really blaming Poch, rather than Levy, for Eriksen and a host of other players running down their contracts and wanting out? Really?
