Weird that he didn't, isn't it, given that he spends most of the game doing precisely that whenever a ball is lofted up to him from the defence? I suppose he saw the goalmouth and forgot all about his usual falling over routine.
I think he knew NOTHING would be given.
I said earlier in this thread, that it's starting to feel like players aren't even putting tackles in because they know it'll just be a free kick against them. Every. Damn. Time. It's better for the flow of the game to wait for the opposition to make a mistake and give possession away, than to make a tackle, watch them drop like a sniper victim and the ref, with his whistle locked and loaded, give it immediately.

There is light at the end of the tunnel!

Just watched Ref Watch on Sky, guess what, no penalty! 🤷‍♂️

Fuck the refs
Fuck PGMOL
Fuck VAR
Fuck the PL

All anti-spurs cunts who deserve nothing but the worst that life has to offer their miserable existences.

Man, it felt good to celebrate our equaliser. Not celebrated a goal like that in a long time (although I was nervous that Richy would take his top off again which always results us in us conceding immediately after lol).

I know we drew, but that felt like a win for me. A point at Anfield is always a great result especially with our abysmal record up there.

Sunday is absolutely massive. I'm so nervous already.

This sums up the idiocy within their ranks to me.

Should Bournemouth have had a penalty?

INCIDENT: Bournemouth wanted a penalty after Evanilson went down in the second half under a challenge from Burnley's Joe Worrall and Bashir Humphreys.

DERMOT SAYS: "Ref just thinks they have come together. He thinks Evanilson has seen the leg and gone over it because it is planted. The ref makes a decision and says no penalty. He tells them why he doesn't think it was a penalty. I would back the referee because he has made a judgement. He hasn't let it go."

So, apparently. the idiots in the VAR room can now telepathically know the ref saw it and was right, so they don't need to bother checking it.
Meanwhile, the idiot on the pitch regularly chooses to ignore things in front of his eyes, assuming the idiots in the VAR room will fix it if he gets it wrong.

Between bent refs and hopelessly thick cunts, they have totally lost control now.

There is no "clear and obvious mistake" scenario. There never has been.
Either a ref is right or he is wrong. VAR should be there to fix it. And they should be able to fix almost every mistake in seconds, not minutes.

That's exactly what I said to my daughter yesterday, when it happened - apart form the O'Hara bit.
I would just fucking love it if some one at the club, each week, a different one, stood there in the post match prezzer and said "well, if it was the other way round, it would be given, wouldn't it?"

It's gotta be someone else each time, taking one for the team.
Let the FA fine us. The club should be happy to pay the fines for speaking up.
What would the FA do if a club chairman came out and said it?
Especially if that chairman was, shall we say, filthy rich and not above board?
Are they gonna fine that chairman for saying something that puts them in a bad light?

Didn't say he wasn't but that doesn't mean he's 'good' that's just a damming indictment of our current squad - how far we've fallen & how low our standards have become...

This quote seems apt here

“A bee doesn’t waste its energy trying to convince a fly that honey is better than shit.”

If you’re still married to a shit position on Gray not being good, after being one of the few players showing determination and moments of quality when we’ve been at our lowest in years, at 19 and 20 years of age, then you can keep hovering over your shit mate

Just seen the MoTD highlights, was at the Woman Hitler's yesterday, where we made a....Quiche.

Tudor needs to go. Playing out from the back at Anfield when you have Vicario AND Man-Bun-C*nt, just insane. We have big forwards in Richi and Muani/Dom, the latter are decent target men. Booting it long gave them problems and led to the goal.

Richi as ever gives his all. Gave them a lot of bother. Deserved his goal, came close to others none of which were easy.

That non-pen, ridiculous. The commentator drove me nuts - "VAR don't overrule the ref's decision". The red COULDN'T make the decision as Van-Twat knew that he was on the blind side and couldn't see his definite foul. Ridiculous not to help the ref in those circs.

Play the strongest team v Atletico and none of this playing short from the off. Get an early goal, there's all to play for. The away fans were magnificent as ever, the team need to get the home fans on board for every match left this season.
