Liverpool will be miles better still next season. They'll get rid of the likes of Tsimikas, Endo, Chiesa and Darwin and replace them with better. I can't see City suddenly becoming a dominant force again although they'll be much better with Rodri back. I was 18 the last time we were in an FA Cup Final, now I'm 52 and many teams have been there since us e.g. Palace next up. It's almost impossible to spend as much money as we do and end up just above relegation.
My memories of that season which I classed as a success was a poor league season ( not as bad as this one but still poor) and everything put into winning the cup. The semi final victory and the final itself being the highlights of the season.
