Performance Loan Watch

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Bromley was the club we signed Damola from so imagine it would be special him going back there although they are doing very well in league 2 so no idea how easy it would be to break in to that.

When Spurs signed Ajayi, I think Bromley were a non league club so definitely a 'feather in their cap' to sign on loan not only their former player but one who has als played in L1 (the league they want to get into)

“Jamie is an excellent signing for the Club and someone we’ve been tracking for some time. He was one of the standout performers in League One last season, consistently demonstrating his quality as both a scorer and a creator.“He has the attitude and personality we look for.

For his age, he shows real maturity, presence and has an outstanding work ethic.“Our aim for this window is to add players who can raise the ceiling of the group, and Jamie fits that profile perfectly.

With his quality and experience at both club and international level, we are confident he can make an immediate impact.”

Neither had Dele when he joined Spurs

Within a month of joining he scored his first PL goal and was undropable for about 3 years
So let’s see how he performs at Oxford.

There’s obviously a reason he wasn’t fancied at Stoke.
Maybe it’s manager intransigence but you would think a team dropping out of playoff consideration like a stone would consider impactful personnel changes.
If he does a great job at Oxford, keeps them up and/or they find a buyer then good luck to all of them. I really like Donley — smart footballer but maybe lacking the athleticism to be a Prem starter.

I do wonder if there’s anything we can do to prevent a quick turnaround other than a pejorative sell-on clause.
