Mate. I was 13. I'm not posting pics of young boys on the internet even if it is of myself in case I get called a paedo. Trust me tho, I glided past players with ease, could unlock a stubborn defence with the most nonchalant of passes ala Gutti and when needed could ping one into the net like prime Van Basten with little effort. Of course being Scottish I soon turned 14 and discovered deep fried mars bars and heroin so what might have been quickly fizzled out.

Thankfully Bergvall is Swedish and avoided those pitfalls so will go on to become an extremely accomplished player.

A point well made , several points in fact .

I'll probably get pelters for this....but you know who he reminds me of (or at least who he could end up being like?)

Juan Sebastian Veron

He has the athelticism and build to mix it up with the physical nature of the game. He's got a natural class to his passing game, great positional awareness and he's not afraid to give it a go at either end of the pitch.

Really pushed us forward in our great spell second half. Provided more direct running than odobert and Johnson combined. Forget the last 5 mins he was fucked the amount of work he got through. I'd gladly make him captain tomorrow if it was up to me.

Thought the kid did well tonight.

He can sometimes have a bouncy first touch, or take a touch too many and I've not been sure whether it was just exuberance (as he is a bit exuberant naturally) or inert, but hopefully it's youthful exuberance and he looked a bit more composed in what he did tonight.

Stupid decision to put Sarr on as the 8 and move Bergval back to 6, which curtailed the carrying and transitional plays he was making.

Another couple of seasons and he will be superstar , works his nuts off , not scared of a tackle and not easily dispossessed when he has it .
Between him and Gray we will have a world class midfield in a couple of years .

100% agree with this! He looked whacked at 80mins, but he was doing so much good work against the best team in premier league history.

The more I see him I think his ceiling is actually higher than gray! Has side a wide variety of skills that’s very hard to deal with.

Personally think he is one of the first names on the team sheet. Fingers crossed we manage him as he has played a lot of football for such a young lad. Ideally we win the Europa in May and can give him and grey rest of season off to relax and let their bodies recover

Sarr is much better at box crashing. Had 2 pretty decent chances from getting into areas that Bergvall doesn't. Definitely wasn't a mistake to bring Sarr on to play 8.

Tbh I'm still not sure Bergvall isn't a #6. He thinks he is and he has the physicality, press resistance and passing range for it. Right now better playing 8 but long term ...
