Still getting back to where he was. He's like Sarr going to hit a brilliant level. We just have balance the long and short term with them.

He should play in games that we're expected to be on the front foot. Has way more threat than a midfield of Palhinha + Sarr.
Palhinha + Sarr + Bentancur = Ultra Defensive
Palhinha + Bergvall + Sarr = Defensive
Palhinha + Bergvall + Simons = Looks decent in games that we want to be very open and go toe to toe with the opposition
Bentancur + Bergvall + Simons = Probably our best combo when we want to hold the ball and have a lot of posession
Sarr + Bergvall + Simons = Ultra Offensive
Palhinha + Sarr + Bentancur = Ultra Defensive

Absolutely had to start today.
Has that fuckoffness in his attitude that won’t allow himself to get taken out of the game like the fridge brothers did today

There have been far to many games, where the game has passed him by.
And today was another example of that.
He has potential, but he needs to step up.
I would pick Bergvall over Sarr on any day.
And that is no slur on Sarr.
Bergvall just has that star quality doesn’t he! Think by October we will see him at his best.

Frank should consider starting Bergvall against West Ham to be on the front foot.

Palhinha, Bergvall and Simons midfield versus West Ham? Assuming Frank doesn’t try Simons on the left to replace the hapless Johnson.
It's gonna be Sarr and Bergvall plus one of Bentancur and Palhinha moving forward if we didn't make a no. 10 signing. Bentancur and Palhinha together are too risk averse and we will be stuck in our half playing balls to Romero and Vicario.
At least he tries to go forwards. We only had him and Kudus trying to create anything and the rest were happy to be sideways passers and let other players take the risks.

From my East Stand vantage point yesterday I felt Luke Skywalker had three opportunities to shoot, during the left to right dribble across the central edge of the 18 yard box, before he opted to play a simple pass to the wing which was spaffed when the cross came in.
Really wound me up tbh.
I was simmering nicely from the variety of misplaced passes and poor first touches from the supporting cast of deadbeats but this incident tipped me over.
