That combination of jumping reach and accuracy would make Tim Cahill proud.

It's obvious that he has those secondary striker instincts in him.
 
Head and shoulders above any youngster we have that's 20 or under. Special player found some great positions second half and a really intelligent finish judged to perfection.
 
He still does some things that are frustrating, but you can see the gradual improvement of a kid that was allowed to fly in a low league and who's had to adjust and balance his game in the prem.

Developing nicely.

Good problem to have, but I feel like Sarr is the first name that should be selected in the midfield. Should play in any match regardless of tactics, for me.
 
Playing in a congested physical Premier League midfield and standing out, coming out favourably in 50/50s and not being phased is the biggest compliment I'm gonna pay to him, the boy must be so strong even if he doesn't look it.

Yeh bit of a beast physically, for 19 almost freakish. Maybe a vague similarity to a certain Dembele.

Use it and enjoy it while we can, for as long as we can. He is clearly ahead of Bentancur now. The only real reason we would maybe want to give Benta a new contract at this point is to preserve his transfer value. It'll be interesting to see how his contract stance changes based on how Lucas supersedes him or not in this early phase of the season.
