Celebrations were nice. And he loves Spurs, there is little doubt in that.

But fuck me - yesterday we had all the room in the world - cannot expect more of it in EPL game really. And all he came up with was one long distance shot. Kane did his part but Moura did literally nothing with 95 minutes.

Against Chelsea I am hoping Bergwijn will start with Kane up top.

one of the most consistent player of the squad
Wait... what?!?

I would say that he is totally among most inconsistent ones in fact.

He had this brilliant game against Crystal Palace, after which people started to rave about how he is totally underestimated, but let's take a look what has happened since -

28.12 - vs Soton; we are 11 against 10, comes on for 30 minutes, totally invisible, gave us nothing
01.01 - vs Watford; played full 90 minutes, gave us absolutely nothing, we lacked clear cut chances in this game
05.01 - vs Chelsea; started and played 80, gave us absolutely nothing, first touch bounced meters off him
09.01 - vs Morecambe; came on for last 20 minutes - scored a good goal and helped us to turn the tie around against League One side - well done in this one
12.01 - vs Chelsea; played 90, gave us nothing, again - heavy first touch and Chelsea players gladly picked the ball from him
19.01 - vs Leicester; played 90, only moment where he posed any threat was his long range effort that Schmeichel kept out, during 2nd half we had so much room, but he never posed any attacking threat

So after his really good game against Palace his tally is - 400 minutes played and 1 goal (though important one!) against League One side.
When we do not have any scoring threat from midfield and we use 2 or max 3 forward-players than they HAVE to come up with more than 1 goal and 0 assists over 400 mintutes. This is not good enough return. And not consistent return.

He was a constant pest to Leicester last night. His running, pace and dribbling kept them busy all night,
Yea, kept them busy.
But did he create any real threat despite having lot of room?

When we have 2 or 3 attacking players and midfield + fullbacks don't pose goal threat, then we need more than "keeping them busy". Otherwise we end the games like we were at 94:50 yesterday.

if your judgement about player performance is all about goal and assist, we see football in a different way
