We conceded 61 league goals last season, we're at that same total this season with one game left...add to that another 13 in the Europa League. Of course, it ain't all on the goalie and defenders, and the coach has a lot to answer for, but still that's a shocking stat. Besides, Romero is on his way out, Micky is as injury-prone as it gets, Dragusin looks like a Chiriches regen...so yeah in my opinion, CB is a priority. Same re FB.

But then again we also need better keepers, 3 CM, 2 or 3 wingers, a CF who scores goals and some quality on the bench.

All good points.

But I'm glad we start with Spurs current squad rather than ManU's squad which has a lot of young players with experience being given by older players such as 33 year old Casemiro whose legs have almost gone, with almost the only decent experienced player being Bruno Fernandes. If you chose a team from the joint squads of Spurs and ManU I think you'd end up with 8 or 9 from Spurs and 2 or 3 players from ManU.

ManU probably have the worst GK and no 9 in PL, which is an horrendous place to start. Their squad this season is probably 2 if not 3 windows behind Spurs despite millions more being spent on it.

Man U's name & history will always attract top players. I think Amorim can succeed there, he's just inherited an atrocious squad. Once he finishes trimming it and gets his guys in, I think they'll come back strong. Gonna need old Jim to open up his purse, though...and no guarantees there. See what happens, but I think they'll go big this summer, they just need to avoid another Antony or Sancho.

Those days are long over. They are facing a financial crisis and apparently still owe 300 mil in payments to clubs from where they bought their current set of flops. Plus a 25% haircut in wages for everyone makes it a very unattractive place to be in..it is a sinking ship and has been for a long time(watched Ronaldo's interview).

Tottenham is a much more attractive destination after the Bilbao win, Levy has managed the finances very well
