Player Luka Vuskovic

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’ve heard some express concern w his speed. Granted, not playing the crazy high line anymore.

But how’s that looking for him?

Hoping we get Dragusin back, let him show value, then get a good price. (Actually think in this system he’d be good, but we need some sales of CBs)
We should keep Dragusin if he's good enough and the CL /HC thing can be made to work. We know we have three good CBs. And then Vuskovic next season should also be good.

We need 5 good CBs.

He is going to be a tough one for us to keep imo.
Real possibility that we sell him at the end of the season for a huge profit without him ever playing in the PL for us.
He looks like becoming a high calibre CB and clubs that pay more wages than us will circle.
Massive disappointment if that occurs of course. These are the types of young player to build the squad around.

You think we're gonna instantly sell one of the best youngsters we've had in bloody ages?

Unless someone offers a world record bid for a teenager or something insane there's zero chance we cash in this early when he has 4 years on his deal. Should be offering him a new deal ASAP really.

If he keeps improving could be a generational player and the heart of our team for a decade.

I agree with you, we should not be selling him. But I know this club and if someone offers 60m+ they would probably sell him, thinking they have made a killing.

Has anyone actually watched a whole game? Feels like people are just hyping him without watching him, unless they watch Hamburg and Belgian football regularly. more pace in the the premier league, there’s no guarantee anyway.

I’ve watched Hamburg 4 times and he’s been their best player in every game. He’s so comfortable but has that aggressiveness that he keeps in check. He’s very controlled with it. Similar to VVD in that regard. Excellent on the ball and the ball is a magnet to him in both boxes. He’s getting constant game time and this is massive for his development. He’d easily get a game instead of Danso as he’s better in the air, reads the game better and is quality with the ball at his feet. A year at Hamburg is perfect for him and us.

There’s no way this lad gets sold. He’s our future and we will tie him up on a ridiculous contract next season because the big guns will be looking just now. He’s ours and we have a top player on our hands.

Levy is not running the club now. How about we give a chance for the current owners (or any potential new owners) to see how they run the club first. If I was so negative about the club, I would not have supported the club since 1970.

Not sure what hes on. We've never ever flipped any player in this way. He was offered the chance to stay as Danso cover and said he want to improve as HE didn't think he was EPL ready. Now this bloke has him skipping the whole perimer league Spurs career 🙄 lol

I'll take it for "400 in category of things that have never happened and will never happen".

I mean it is 1000% baseless and random fantasy. It is irrational. And shortly put - totally impossible.

We paid 10 million for him. 2 years and 2 months ago as 17-yo.
That is a big gamble. That is exactly the kind of gamble that you know - 7 out of 10 or somehing around that will be write-offs.
Then there are 20 players who turn out OK but not super spectacular.
And then 1 remaining will be a world-class superstar material.

Clearly how things have developed, Vuskovic is nearing the last category.
It is totally brainless to even talk about potentially selling him for like 60 mil. Basic logic does not make sense.
In that portfolio-styled approach I described- it would mean that you write off 70 mil for players that do not work out. And sell 1 that does for 50 mil profit- you would be still 20 mil in red with two medicore players left (!).

If someone offers 125 or 150 million.
Then there might be some slight chance.
But no one will offer that kind of money. So I am willing to bet my car right here and right now that your thought will not materialize.
