I agree with you, we should not be selling him. But I know this club and if someone offers 60m+ they would probably sell him, thinking they have made a killing.
I'll take it for "400 in category of things that have never happened and will never happen".
I mean it is 1000% baseless and random fantasy. It is irrational. And shortly put - totally impossible.
We paid 10 million for him. 2 years and 2 months ago as 17-yo.
That is a big gamble. That is exactly the kind of gamble that you know - 7 out of 10 or somehing around that will be write-offs.
Then there are 20 players who turn out OK but not super spectacular.
And then 1 remaining will be a world-class superstar material.
Clearly how things have developed, Vuskovic is nearing the last category.
It is totally brainless to even talk about potentially selling him for like 60 mil. Basic logic does not make sense.
In that portfolio-styled approach I described- it would mean that you write off 70 mil for players that do not work out. And sell 1 that does for 50 mil profit- you would be still 20 mil in red with two medicore players left (!).
If someone offers 125 or 150 million.
Then there might be some slight chance.
But no one will offer that kind of money. So I am willing to bet my car right here and right now that your thought will not materialize.
