Has a Spurs player ever outgrown Spurs without actually playing a game? Congratulations ENIC, another record.

Hmm nah we'd need him to agree to an extension - otherwise we're just giving him more money without any gain to the club. Might only get him to agree to 1 extra year but in this context that means a lot.
Tbh even if we did get a silly offer (which I doubt we will) I'm still not 100% we'd sell. Would be a PR disaster for the new board when they're claiming we've got shitloads of money, and 80-100m doesn't even go that far these days. Barely gets you Brennan Johnson and Strand Larsen.
It would be funny if we have a 100+ page thread about a player who only played a couple of pre-season games for us.Same entitlement we have with players at lower clubs than us to be fair. That's just how football works I'm afraid.
In his cases there's too much smoke without fire. It looks like Bayern will come in with a huge offer, because it's their weakest link in the team, and we'll probably accept it, and the owners will congratulate themselves on getting a massive profit for essentially being a broker that took him from Croatia to Bayern.

I wonder if Frank weren't manager would he not have gone on loan?
I'll take the bet with you that the long string of ifs and buts you outline dont happen...£50 to a charity. I dont think he will be in Germany next season either. With all due respect, if they go near the €100m mark, he's a goner. All he has to say is that he wants to go, why should we risk keeping an unsettled player in an already fragile/broken ego dressing room? We need players that want to be there. His dad and agent are shopping him for a move, it's very obviously not just randoms on twitter making this shit up.
I remember when Pletti started the Kane stories, and people said he was full of shit, look at what happened there.
Edit: These are the same people that said they wanted him to play at Hamburg this year. He's in Hamburg this year.
Not happening

Vinai openly making statements that we plan to increase our salary cap for players, the declared 100m investment in the club from ENIC, Lange saying we're going to be ambitious for the right players, the fact we apparently offered Semenyo a better financial package than even City.
Yeah.Don't bring him back next season to stay on the bench behind that cunt romero.
Get him gone (with dragusin) for tons of cash, bring this lad back to play next to VDV and use some of the money to buy another back-up CB.
Danso, Vuscovic, VDV, New (good) CB.
That sorts our CB situation out.
Again, do not bring him back to sit on the bench behind that cunt.
Agreed. There's a step from that 5k/10k up to serious, life changing money that any pro is understandably absolutely desperate to make. Vuskovic's only chance (and very high chance) of doing that right now is by coming back and impressing at Tottenham.Well we clearly disagree so let's just see how it pans out.
If we're not relegated I'm absolutely certain Vuskovic stays and I think it's pretty likely he signs a new deal. If he pushes we can simply say:
"Sorry mate - you're not leaving yet. But if you extend you can earn 8 x your current salary and sort out your family for life. Or just stay on 10k for the next couple of seasons before we agree to sell you. Your call". As a kid you basically have no choice but to agree to that as the leap financially is so big.
You see very young players extend at clubs all the time for this exact reason. It's literally the reason why clubs like us and Chelsea are buying players so young on long contracts - it's so you have leverage over young talents and can basically force them to stay for a while cos they're on such low starting salaries compared to senior pros.
You're talking about him like he's Kane or Isak. He's a kid on 10k. It's different.
