Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

In contrast, a pal of mine is a runner for the BBC and used to work for BBC sport.

He said the BBC's football journalists scoured every league clubs forums all day, every day, to see who each were talking about, then made up tweets for those exact players to those exact clubs.

It isn't about being correct, it's about farming clicks for ad revenue.

As Van de Ven already said.

Ding fucking Ding.

Cannot believe, still, in 2026, the amount of dysregulation some folks on here go through when reading a tweet from a nobody on social media -

Yup, but rather than Levy being smart, he paid the exact amount straight off, rather than negotiating up, knowing that will we offer the release clause after a week or two of negotiation. Which just raised alarm bells.
The bloke was an idiot. I mean how fucking out of character was that? Its Daniel Levy and he doesn't even suggest a bit of negotiation? It literally screamed 'Ive been told'. Then Postecoglou whispers to Marinakis its come from a chat with one of the Spurs players. I was told Brennan Johnson. It was so obvious it was cringe. But it would have worked if MGW doesn't shit thd bed.

Loaning him out instead of integrating him into the squad is stupidity.

He is potentially better than all our defenders. Clowns at the top.
Well any loan for Vuskovic would be on the proviso he signs a big new contract. I've been saying all season whatever happened to Spurs there was a very good chance Vuskovic would sign a new deal as the club have him over a barrel - he's practically on youth team wages atm.

I'm guessing we'd push for him to extend to 2032 which gives us a ton of control over his future - he gets the fairy tale year with his brother in Hamburg and we then integrate him the season after. A 1 year extension would be OK, but 2 is what we should really be pushing for.

The thing that surprises me is that this is being mooted so early - I would've thought Roberto would want to suss him out in pre-season first. He's clearly an uber-talent and I'd love to see him integrated ASAP so he can get PL experience and build a connection with the club. But if De Zerbi feels he needs another loan and this gives us control over his future, then it's certainly not the worst thing in the world. He's still barely 19 after all.

Well, I doubt any team, City, Real, Barca, Bayern, would let a player like him go on loan. If we are doing that is another masterclass from the usual suspects.

Yep- RM went out and bought that player and built around them in Huijsen.
Barca don't tend to spend much on defenders, and Bayern haven't been great picking them as of late.
City have done a very good job with it as you can tell.

It's really hard to understand how Vusk can be such a great talent but not good enough for our bottom dwelling team. Needs to be brought back to replace Romero asap imo. He is such a smart player, and absolutely deadly in set pieces. We would be stupid to not want to play a generational talent.

I'm saying he isn't better than Romero or VDV, he is playing better than them or at least he was as far as VdV is concerned.

Guy is playing in the fekin Bunsesliga, lets see what he does in the Prem first, absolute mental shout.

Nah French.

We're also being linked to Van Hecke from Brighton who is another right sided CB that would cost a bomb. If we sign him (which I doubt we will tbf) then Romero's definitely off, regardless of what's going on with Vuskovic.

I can't believe we're in for Van Hecke on big money the same time we're sitting on Vusk, but I guess we've done dafter things 🤷‍♂️

French league certainly is better than the Swiss league, but def not outright better than the Bundesliga. Should perhaps give us some measure of confidence as to Vuskovic's readiness.

Yeah it is a bit odd, but it's just one article from Miguel Delaney so he could be chatting nonsense (as he has done before).

I think Vuskovic is probably as ready to be thrown into the PL as any 19 year old ever has been. He's built like a brick shit-house and all the German pundits say he plays with the maturity of someone far older. But who knows what RDZ is thinking? Sometimes managers are just very specific about what qualities they want from players and he might think Vusko could use more time to develop?

Or maybe this is all just hear-say and he will come back to Spurs after all?

The Athletic is the Sports arm of an increasingly right wing shit show the NYT are not exactly some paragon of virtue by the way .
There is nothing political about The Athletic. In fact, if you asked me which way they went, I’d say left leaning based on ask the articles and the authors on there.

Just because the parent company is trash, doesn’t mean they are. Without ads, you wouldn’t even know the two were related.
