Can I compliment the performance of Siggy. Not that he did that much on the ball, but he made som superb little runs into space right in between the Lyon back 4 on numerous occasions, too bad his teammates could not deliver that final ball. I'd be tempted to give him a chance at #9 now.
Overall it was a good result, like Newcastle I was very impressed with Lyons performance level. Our performance was particulary good, but it's a sign of health, that we scrap those results anyway.
Our biggest problems seems to be fairly consistent:
1) Backpost defending
2) Defending and attacking set pieces with some very passive behaviour at times
3) midfield pressing patterns, when a teammate loses the ball
4) creative play in the final third, there is a blatant lack of cohesion and understanding between the players.

Neither Demps or Ade had a "good game" but Dempsey did get more touches in then in the past couple...I noticed he was on the pitch. Walker had a few strong runs up the flank so I bumped him up a bit...and if it wasn't for that laser shot this would have been a clean sheet so Verts gets a bump.
