Great game. In particular because that is probably the only starting eleven we can rely on, apart from Regui - Sess maybe.

We need strengthening in the summer. Deki and Bentancur seem good buys so far, they will do well. Everything we have on the bench is not good enough - Lucas is fine as a sub, defo not a starter.

I also think Lloris should be holding his face forcing VAR to take a look after the first City goal as he gets a boot in the face from de Bruyne and it can easily be argued that this delayed him getting back to feet to dive for the next shot.

Would’ve been disingenuous after his screw up but still worthwhile.
 
Morning my throat is sore and my head is like a brick, not sure what happened yesterday evening don’t remember the chicken fried rice in the kitchen which I had for breakfast, don’t know who Sarah or Jackie are but received texts about having a great time and must do it again. Curiously there’s only one empty beer bottle and one empty beer can. I can’t recall leaving the flat or falling asleep on the sofa but remember the boxing which I watched with the younger boy. Hmmm

Just read the entire thread....none of us have a fucking clue about anything and the pessimism on show pre-match is epic...I wouldn't change a fucking thing, I love this place...
