Match Man Utd (A)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Jan at left back is a no he's not quick or fit. Auirer is a liability as is sisoko no pace in the team really only son and moura. Going to take a good while to sort this team out. Most of them bottle out of a challenge and are playing in the motions.

Jan was fine, they didn’t even bother to target his side as they knew he would be hard to get past. They focused all their energy on the triangle of Aurier, Sanchez and Sissoko who are our three most limited players and it worked a treat.

Mourinho has said he doesn't want his right back to defend?

Not quite as magnificent as that, but he definitely said something along the lines of ‘his game is going forward’. Sounds to me like an instruction to bomb forward when we’re in possession and left Sissoko fill in for you as you make your way back.

I could be wrong. It’s been known.

Honestly, we were so crap tonight, it seems pointless calling out individuals.

No complaints, we were hugely outplayed for 80 of the 90 minutes.

Why on earth we bother with Eriksen is beyond me, Lo Celso was more involved in his five-minute cameo than Wantaway Boy in 30.

Just doesn’t appear to be any sense whatsoever in playing Eriksen who left the building long ago. How on Earth can Lo Celso get up to speed without game time? It just beggars belief

All home wins tonight...

That's kinda what I mean... with the obvious lack of service, Kane didn't even seem to wanna drop deep and Do something about it....
He was just waiting for the killer ball... which never came... usually he'd take the initiative, but not tonight...
Whether that was taking direction from Jose, I dunno... but usually he at least seeks to DO something proactive, even if it's not scoring, he's providing... but not tonight.
Just odd, that's all.

I do think Kane has to have a look at himself tonight. I really do.

The most obvious issue was how the top 3 did not rotate very much ( if at all ) Kane, Son and Lucas should be switching positions much much more.

Christ I am so pissed off.

Can someone check on bus-conductor bus-conductor please? I’m concerned he may well have had a heart attack watching Sissoko tonight. Not his best game I’m afraid. That midfield really is an issue for us isn’t it.

For those of you using this to score some cheaps points by bleating on about Poch, just fuck off, he's gone.

And even if he was still here, all we would be hearing about last few weeks would be "Is he going to take the United job when Ole gets sacked"

He had his chance, we gave him 5 years and he returned zero silverware.

The players weren't playing for him, everyone was far too comfortable, you can see the rot has well and truly set in, these are not shit players they have been mismanaged for a lot time.

We've seen Mr Nice Mourinho, I think they need to hear Mr nasty Mourinho in the dressing room tonight, all the way home on the coach and tomorrow at extra training.

That performance like so many was not acceptable for that group of players.

I'll tell you what, it reminded me of Pochettino's late days, which would suggest the malaise goes deeper than the manager.

It's saying something that our MotM may well have been Gazza, despite his softness in the early goal.

Sissoko was piss poor, Winks not much better. Lucas was invisible, Sonny off the game. Dele sort of gets a pass for his golazo but beyond that, meh
The rose glasses that people view Sissoko with really needs to stop right now. “He puts a great shift in”. Absolute grade A dung. He’s useless and has no business starting at central midfield in any team who have aspirations of being successful.

Any of his fans come at me.

He was practically in midfield at one point.
