Match Man Utd vs Tottenham Hotspur | Sunday 29 September | Old Trafford

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He finally looked dangerous today- his take on and shot were fantastic. I’m keen to see him get a bit more involved in the defensive mix but he is coming along wonderfully for a 17 year old.

We're all eager to see him break out and be a star; but it should be a gradual curve over the season.... A few more substantial cameos and then MAYBE (!) he can start one of our EL games (so long as it's a strong line-up around him).

There’s a Sky enquiry and post mortum every time it happens. They are a club in decline. They aren’t entitled to anything and Sky’s obsession with them and a bad result is beyond embarrassing.
It was hardly a surprise. I've watched some of their games and there's just nobody on that team that looks threatening. Maybe one or two will develop as the season goes along, but that's a really average team at best. Man U fans wouldn't want to hear it, but you've almost got to stick with Ten Hag and write this season off. There's nobody they can bring in who can overcome this. The upside for Spurs is they are so bad they'll not be able to tempt Postecoglou to take the job anytime soon.

I still think he should be given the chance ahead of Werner, not saying he should play every game etc, but Son and Odobert arent injured long term are they? I would rather see Moore than Werner for a few games until Son is back.

Respectfully; I'm glad you're not in charge then.

This predicament is exactly why we bothered to bring Werner back at all... Not to be a starter or even a regular (and of course we didn't expect him to be racking up double figures goals either); but simply a seasoned pro to allow us to ease Moore in without pressure on our terms without being damagingly reactive in the face of injuries.

Turkey on Thursday could very well be brutally hostile on and off the pitch....... And you want that to be his senior debut.... A veritable child.

Yeah that one actually made me chuckle , what if we changed it “Arteta gets pegged up the ass”
Or just 'Arteta is a fucking ass'
He puts hamsters up his arse.........

OR just stop shoehorning Gooners into Spurs songs!

Enough already...
We've done it way too often in the past...

The Dele song, the Eriksen song, we can't help ourselves!
Why the fuck bring Gooners into it?
I can't even bear to sing their name on a Matchday, let alone include their players or managers in a chant about a SPURS player!

It makes us look so small tine!

...and we say we're living rent free in THEIR heads!!

Jesus, why can't we just sing songs about Spurs players WITHOUT making ANY mention of Gooners?!

His touch and quick feet have always been apparent.. but played on the right wing it was often overshadowed by his lack of acceleration.... By midfielder standards, as we've seen he isn't slow .. But he just ain't 'winger quick' .
Agreed, that was always clear to the eye, but I've seen him play in midfield before and he can sometimes clog the attacking areas by taking up the same positions of his other forwards, or sometimes lose his position entirely when given too much time or even forcing the play when under pressure. None of that was the case today. Not only was it not the case he absolutely dominated the midfield from an advanced position. He took the ball on the half turn multiple times and then used his incredible balance to move past people and drive into clear space, often making the best decision when given an opportunity (aside from a couple of times he could have played Maddison in). If I saw that performance for another team I'd be lamenting that we wouldn;t be able to pay the money for a player capable of that performance because it was so eye catching.

Nah, according to some, Son is finished. His age, his legs, his running, everything. His critics will take this game to prove he's the problem with us when we are not winning.
That's a bit of a childish take on pretty reasonable comments about a player who set his own high standards - and is now no longer sustaining them. It doesn't mean that any of us think less of him, or now decry his fabulous performances for our Spurs.
Neither does it ignore the sadness that we are witnessing this club legend transitioning into a shadow of his former greatness.
This is no matter of pleasure for any of us to witness.

I didn't write it butt.

In school I won a competition with a poem about the Rolferoo which has aged badly.

Not got a credit for a chant yet though.

SSN coverage of the game...
A full 15 (FIFTEEN) minutes of Man Utd coverage, analysis, dissection, Interviews, pundits crying etc. before they even THINK to show an interview with a Spurs voice!

Precisely why my favourite chant is "being a yid" - just about us as a fanbase and no mention of anyone or anything else.

Officially we shouldn't laugh but...

It's tamer than the Wenger chant.

I find it quite funny TBH, not sure why they feel the need to shoehorn Arteta into it though.
