Match Man Utd vs Tottenham Hotspur | Sunday 29 September | Old Trafford

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Dude! We're not ignoring it, it's the reason he's out of control, ffs! You see?

The problem is that he then flails in a reckless attempt to stop madders anyway. Please tell me you get this.

And you're missing the point on the cherry-picking, I'm saying just because he missed him with his studs doesn't mean they weren't aimed at him, OR at risk of hitting him in his reckless out of control.. yadda yadda (you get the picture...).

The entire problem comes down to the moment he decides to go for the man anyway. And I'm done talking about this.

The rules aren't bullshit, they are there to stop the bullshit. Fernandes without these rules would cripple players on a weekly basis. It's 'soft' by comparison to our years of experience with reds, but I'm happy to see our players thrash a big team playing sexy football without resorting to that stuff.

I also like it when Romero swings at people I don't like, but that's the duality of man for you!
I've never regretted putting him on ignore - except for the time I didn't realise he'd been sin binned (wrongly, I'd imagine?).

Just sayin' :)

I mean it's not really though is it, I don't think I've ever seen a snide flick catogorised as a red card.

Football really is getting soft if that is deemed a red.
I think you've made your own point...
Snide, sneaky cowardly acts like that ARE a sign that football has gone soft... and should be punished.

Go in hard like a man (OR Woman, they can tackle hard too!) and do it like you mean it...

That was the equivalent of a punch to the back of the head as your opponent walks away
.. THAT'S what needs punishment!

If he'd have gone in hard and caught him, so be it...
But he slipped, couldn't handle it, so lashed out on his way down.

THAT'S soft, and sneaky, and abhorrent!

Red all day! Sneaky cunt

Well said. 100%

I actually did after the 'you think that could have crippled him?' post (he's just building his own strawmen at this point). But then I realised I'd had too much coffee and unignored him, but I am trigger-happy on re-ignoring him if he doesn't cut that kind of immature bullshit out.

In a general sense, I'd rather not ignore people as we're all fucking twats some of the time, but we're also funny, considerate, insightful, experienced and wise once or twice a year. I put most of the former down to bad results, coffee, lack of hugs and ego driving you down a cul-de-sac.

Let's be honest , we'd all be raging if Romero was sent off for that challenge

It was soft

We still would have won the match 11 vs 11 anyways , we were so dominant and actually played better against 11
Yeah but he would have been sent off for that and we all know Neville on commentary would have been demanding a red as soon as the tackle went in.

So, forgive me if I don't have much sympathy for Bruno. Especially because he's a diving cunt who would have been rolling around on the floor and screaming in agony if he was Maddison.

Proud to say he's my only ignoree.

Because I'm not a child and try to see things objectively, that's okay isn't it? We're all adults here mate so sometimes we're allowed to have mature discussions.

If the situations were reversed and Maddison went off for that we'd be livid and rightly so.

Yeah... It's one of those where you can see why it was given but you can understand why Bruno feels aggrieved.

If it were the other way round I'd definitely want VAR to ask the ref to look at it again.

Season 5 Lol GIF by Pee-wee Herman

Long may it continue. I despise United, the glory hunter fans and the excessive representation in the media.
I hope they back him all the way to the championship.

As a side-note to the red-card discussion - what the fuck were that club thinking of in making this whiny, diving sulker their captain? He's such a horrible, selfish little shit who consistently sets the worst possible example.

Sums up everything that's wrong with them.

I cannot fathom why after one of our most dominant wins in recent years people are so desperate to debate if it was a red or not. Was it a red? Maybe not. Do I care? Not one bit. Let’s leave United to debate that, I'd rather soak in the win.
I don’t think anyone is ‘desperate to debate it’. We all loved the decision.

Just mulling over whether or not it should have been a sending off. A simple football discussion.

It was probably a bit soft. And he slipped. But it’s mitigated by the fact that:

A) He’s the most annoying cunt in the league; and
B) No one cares.

This morning the fucking BBC are doubling down on their shitty ignoring of the magnificent Spurs performance. We go to Utd, we thrash them 0-3 and this is what I see on the bloody BBC website...

Not a dickie bird about the magnificent performance of the team that caused this little local trouble.
this is good for us though isn't it? We're only 3pts off 4th with comparable GD, won 4 in a row, tied 2nd for goals against and no-one is talking us up. Good. Lets keep under the radar

I see what you say, but it would be nice if the magnificent quality of our play was recognised. If we'd have been wearing Man City shirts there would have been multiple orgasms in every TV studio in England.

It’s one of those that if given as a yellow VAR doesn’t upgrade to red, and vice versa.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer chap! 😂
This.

In the cold light of day it’s neither a red or a yellow, really. Can completely understand why the red stood but equally if it was downgraded to a yellow I don’t think too many would have complained.

But, fuck Bruno he’s a whining faced big baby and maybe it’s a wee bit of karma.
