I don't see how we could play Serge, he's gotta be rather unfit (and unmotivated)? But yeah Matt played Thursday so...maybe Mou plays Japh instead, for his physicality? Also not sure about him playing both GLC and Dombz tbh, think he may opt for a more defensive-minded pick like Siss alongside Gio & Hoj.
No way Dele starts either IMO, it'll be Coco...far more industrious/much less lazy.
Here's my take for 4-3-3: Hugo - Japh (Serge) Toby, Dier, Davies - Hoj, Siss, GLC - Lucas, Kane, Coco..........likely will bring on Reggy, Dombz & Dele at some stage
For 3-5-2 (even 3-5-1-1): Hugo - Sanch, Dier, Toby - Japh (Serge), Siss, Hoj, GLC, Reggy - Coco - Kane......brings on Dombz, Dele and maybe Berg
***** of course the above is assuming Son ain't fit. If he is, he won't start in either scenario but be first sub, especially if needing a goal *****

Hey! Just wondering...bit out of the blue I know but...ummm...can you lend me a TV?
What worries me about that game (but others too tbh) is that we have quite the bunch who've got a serious goal-gifting brainfart in them, with Sanch & Dier chiefs amongst them. Toby to a lesser degree, but I think it's mostly cause of what he has around him and all the overcompensating he has to do. Don't even get me started on Serge, who's worth 5 Trippiers on his own. And yes, M-Do is still finding his feet blah blah blah, but all the while he leaves us well exposed.
Then you look at Hoj & Winksy, they do give possession away stupidly and also leave big gaps behind them...we got away with it vs Haifa, but they didn't have Rashford or Greenwood playing for them.
That's why I think we still need a rock solid CB and a proper DM, but in all likelihood our business is done.
If I were Jose I'd play Davies at the back and I'd go with a 352...yeah Ben is shattered but he's our safest pair of hands at CB in my humble opinion. Get Moussa and Coco in there too, their grit & grind will defo be required

Davinson is getting on my tits now, his actual defending is decent but he is giving away some insanely sloppy balls under no pressure. He has to improve that. Mourinho will not put up with CBs who repeatedly give the ball away in their own half.
We need his pace against Martial but if he gives the ball away like he did against Maccabi then Bruno is going to fuck us.

Hopefully our passing in midfield will be better and maybe, just maybe, Winks will pass it in a forwardly direction .
No way Tanganga plays this. He was poor on Tuesday, mainly because he's had zero game time.
Just play the senior players in a back 4. 2 of Sanchez, Toby and Dier.
