still not sold out, very poor form. :sandro:

the prize rise was too steep from the last round - plus bolton will bring less fans than stevenage did.....
This is our last chance of silverware, also an opportunity to top up loyalty points for a potential trip to Wembley, that outweighs both those factors IMO.

Re: Lolton Omgderers

Expectations too high nowadays. Even an FA Cup QF can't fill the stadium. Would have been sold out in 24 hours a couple of years ago. I went to Anorthosis Famagusta a few years back which was a sell out.

Imagine how it would look in a 58,000 seat stadium. Come on guys, buy a fucking ticket!

Re: Lolton Omgderers

I'm in... slap-bang in the middle of Block 32...

Hey, just thought, seeing as the 'Mission' of the Spurs Ultras was to generate an atmosphere at a game that would otherwise be poorly attended (hence the focus on the Youth Cup Games) ...is anyone thinking what I'm thinking????

FLAGS, DRUMS, COWBELLS & WHISTLES!!!!

i would describe myself as slap bang in the middle of 32 as well, its st patricks day, its a late kick off, it WILL be sunny, cant fookin wait

should be a good atmostphere regardless,

Re: Lolton Omgderers

fookin' better be!!!

Never underestimate the lift a PROPER Cup run can give the players ...which is why I was a little concerned at the manner of Chelsea's victory last night... thass ALL we need! ...the only good to come of it was they needed extra-time to do it Here's hoping Leicester can push them to a(nother) Replay!!!!

Always find it weird people don't want too pay money to watch us in the FA Cup/cups.
Had a couple of convo's with people on twitter about the EL ticket prices not reflecting the team we put out, and that's why attendance were so low.

Think we will put out a strong team on Saturday against a Premiership side, Cat C pricing, Quarter Final of the cup. Should be a sell out. 40k waiting list members, 100k other members and it goes to general sale?

Embarrassing imo.

Re: Lolton Omgderers

In my 2nd season as a member I'd accrued enough points to go to the Pompey semi, I found it pretty easy to get points, although the FAYC match against Woolwich was 20LPs IIRC which definitely boosted my total. :ledley:

My ticket is £43 compared with £20 in the last round, and as I said earlier the away allocation has quite a large bearing on the availability of home tickets. Lower league teams nearly always take 6,000+ as it's their 'cup final'.....for Bolton fans this is just another expensive away day in London at a ground they've already lost 3-0 at once this season......

Re: Lolton Omgderers

I'd go but payday isn't until next Friday and i'm already owing money to the 'rents.

Once the almighty Credit Card comes through the post i'll be going to pretty much every game I can get tickets for!

EDIT: Just a thought, but when the block is orange it usually used to mean there aren't 2 tickets together in that block. We've gone back to the old system of picking your individual seats (when did this happen? great idea) but when I click on an orange block there's seats everywhere. Might be putting people off from looking if they don't think there'll be seats together (almost threw me, I was just checking to see whether there might be any diagonal/above each other).

Re: Lolton Omgderers

Didn't think I could make it when the tickets went on sale but I can now (although I can't really afford it). I've just text a few people, if I can get someone else to go with then I'll be there.

It only shows a certain amount of LP history on your account on the website, they haven't gone they are just sort of archived - add up the points listed on your account and it won't amount to the total number....

Re: Lolton Omgderers

Thing is, the fans that don't want to go / can't be fucked with this game will be the ones moaning when they don't get a ticket for (dare I say) bigger matches in future.

Unfortunately for me I had already arranged plans for this day or I would have definitely been there. Having said that I did do a 250 mile round trip on a thursday night for Rubin Kazan and only missed about 3 home games this season, I'm allowed one game off :)

Bolton allocation is small but what would happen if the ground was 60k - there would still be a lot of empty seats? Buy one get one free? We laugh at the Spammers for that sort of shit.

The main factor is on ST holder uptake. I think a lot of ST holders didn't pick up their tickets for this, but still think we should be selling out to members or at least when it goes on general sale.
And not having a pop at ST holders and members who go all the time, football is an expensive hobby these days. Just get fed up of hearing people say you can never get tickets, proof right here that actually you can.

I just wait for the moans if we get to CL about the ground being too small. Message to the gloryhunters. Those games will be on telly, that's how you usually watch it, deal with it.
