Tottenham sign Bayern's Tel on loan

Tottenham have confirmed the loan signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old reportedly rejected Spurs earlier this month but is now heading for north London with the option to buy for €55m (£45.7m) on a six-year deal.
Tel has made 83 appearances for Bayern since joining from French club Rennes in 2022, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.
It is the club's second in two days as they continue to contend with an injury crisis. They announced the signing of Austria defender Kevin Danso on loan from Ligue 1 club Lens on Sunday.
Next signing should be Burnley’s social media guy.
I put zero emotional investment into the prospect of signing Tel because I figured it simply wouldn't materialise. Slightly annoying to be right in this instance, but I've avoided Dybala-style disappointment.

See what happens. Bayern want the money. They’ve got their eyes on Wirtz this summer and that will be mucho expensive. Also, if he starts scoring here, players are superstitious creatures of habit. They stay where the goals are flowing.
