Funny, I was thinking today about the parallels with Henry. He was at Monaco and everyone got excited. Went to Juve a bit early and played 16 games, scored 3 goals and was looking like it wouldn't work. The scum lucked out and picked him up and turned him into a striker.
Obviously that's where the comparison ends for now because Tel has it all to do but it is a similar story. Only Henry hated the higher ups at Juve and Tel seems to still be loyal to Bayern.
At 19, more explosive anyway. Henry was very much a “pass them in” type, not many bangers (plus not gonna big him up much…), hence struggled out wide for Juve goals wise, whereas Tel has a Defoe like power for a skinny guy.
I don't know man, even though he's a gooner, Henry is one of the best finishers I've seen. Regrettably...
Once everyone was fit (I know) the perfect way to use Sonny is against tired legs especially when we are defending a lead, I think that was the plan anyway before we had our mass injury crisis.
