I like his attitude. He clearly wants to do well and probably will as talent is there. Trying too much is normal, Bergvall was much worse in his first appearances. Nothing went for him today but it's easy to imagine the opposite as he was getting on the ball all the time, shooting and making clever runs. I'd be more worried if he was hiding but that's not the case. Honestly didn't expect anything different from a guy 19 year old adjusting to a new team new league etc
Worked hard and he tried all game. Playing striker in this team is a difficult job, our wingers and creative players aren’t good enough. I always said the price was a lot of money for him but he needs to get used to the league.

I like his attitude and his presence. Decision making and his hold up play has been poor in his first 3 appearances but Solanke is elite in them departments so probably an unfair comparison.
He has the talent and has a brilliant attitude so I've no doubt he will progress into a top player. He is still very raw so I can see why Bayern were happy to part ways, but I'm glad he's a Spurs player. I think when we have everyone fit, he will be an effective squad player. I don't see him as a starter in the Europa League games if we have everyone fit.

Didn’t happen for him yesterday but it’s a solid start early on. The thing that’s impressed me most is how sharp his movement is. He moves aggressively into space to receive the ball and hes very intelligent. It’s going to happen for him - high ceiling

This is still a kid in many respects.
Not the time to judge, which would be the case regardless, and even more so now.
Having game time in a tough league will be ideal for him, and will start to reveal his level, but his best is probably a few years away.

Even though none of them went in, most were on target and that gave the keeper and defence something to think about.
Liverpool didn't have a single shot in the 2nd half at home to Wolves yesterday and were in danger of throwing away a 2-0 half time lead. Their record of that is 118 times they have been 2 up and 116 times they won. With 2 draws. The fact they didn't have a single shot in that 2nd half was big IMO.
So I'd rather have a player shooting and not scoring than not shooting at all.

Movement and intelligence is there to see. Once he’s in rhythm at PL tempo that’s at least 1 goal but possibly 2.

Because he joined Bayern at the age of 17 - most players that age are not impact players for the 1st team of any quality, particularly not at one of the top clubs in the world, Bayern.
