If it’s £30-35m then a good deal. Should be a bit lower than £50m as while he clearly has talent it’s unrefined and sometimes players don’t develop further. If he does grow he has a lot of speed and skill. Feels like a player that will one day get to either peak Son level or get only to that of an average prem winger. Just feels like there is a very big range he could hit. Odobert on the other hand I am more certain will be top draw but to have the option of two fast players in the attack is nice.

Compared to Son and Werner I'd say he offers more.

Two goals in eight games (some as sub) shouldn't be a deal breaker for a nineteen year old.

How many nineteen year old's are the finished article?

I am trying to think what Spurs fan is expecting from a team with no European football next season, likely a seventeenth PL finish and a manager on his way put to sign?

Fifty million possibly not but what did we pay for Johnson, Richy and Solanke?

One pen which he didn't win.

One Johnson cross which hit Tel and went in - Tel knew nothing about it.

Moore at age 17 (18 in August) plays at LW and has looked good for his age.

So no point in buying Tel unless we are really sure he's close to a finished article. Right now jury is out on him being worth more than £20m max as a punt - looks far less developed than Odobert bought for £25m - same age as Tel

Considering we've already paid them something like £10m for the loan you would think we really need to get a deal of some kind done but there should be some admission on Bayern's side that this is not in any way, shape or form a £60m player right now. Bayern paid around £25m for him so if we offer them 30 having already given them 10 they've done pretty well to turn a sizeable profit on a player who didn't really progress whatsoever.

Think its more like €25m paid - 20m plus addons that Bayern paid

Don't think he looks better than when he was at Rennes, so think we offer them their money back might go to €30m tops , just over what we paid for Odobert who is a more developed player

And that's on top of the €10m loan fee already paid so Bayern still making a goood profit on him

Can you point me in the direction of the law that states a penalty absolutely must be taken by the player that was fouled?

Kane would be on forty odd goals less for Spurs if that was the case.

No fucking nineteen year old is "close to the finished article"

Disagree- I thought there were very good signs of potential there. Tel is very fluent and confident on the ball. He's a thoughtful passer with good range. He can cross and shoot with either foot. He appears able to dribble well to left and right too.

In the vid it looks like he is dwelling on the ball a bit- maybe he thinks we are a bit shit so wants to try and dictate play. Not really sure, but I think he should be trying to run past his man down the outside a bit more and dwelling on the ball less.

30-35 million seems reasonable fee for him- I think we'd be hard pressed to find a young winger with better upside and pedigree for less- not that it couldn't be done- just that we might not be able to get that player this window for whatever reason.

A better manager could make a nice attack out of Tel, Dom and Odo I think.
 
The desperation to see a player in this thread is laughable.

If he was that talented why is one of the biggest clubs in the world practically giving him away?

Every single of our players look like shit in this system and under this manager. Are you sure you're taking that into account with your opinion of Tel?
