they'll probably get Bayern down to £30 million, then its a similar punt to Wilson Odobert. Think both sides will agree to this in the summer.

I'm indifferent on him really, however he looks like he has some ability but seems to struggle with the strength level and pace of the league. That's physical stuff he should be able to improve on.

so far Tel, Odobert and Moore seem much of a muchness out wide and need a lot of improvement to be starters as one would expect with teens. not everyone can be a Yamal

Moore overrated, Solomon championship player. How often do you chuck 100m plus away... you live a champ manager world my friend... although I do agree Mbeumo would be good if we can afford him... but we are not buying Eze due to insane fee Palace will ask for.

My opinion on Tel is just that an opinion.

If we buy Tel at a reduced price as the noise suggests, then I really do hope he pulls up trees next season.

I’ll be more than happy to admit I was wrong, because if he does well, we as a team do well. I’d much rather that than be able to say ‘I told you so!’

Eating a sodding great slice of humble pie won’t give me indigestion like it might some! 😂
 
Not against the practice of buying potential if the price is right.....the beauty of this deal was having the opportunity to try before you buy and the likely conclusion may be there is no knock down price that would be agreeable to the sellers based on his performances to date.

The options for an established LWF at this club are extremely limited hence why I'm struggling to come up with a realistic alternative, the LWF market is kinda dense anyway but with our wage budget we don't have much room to manoeuvre.

It's funny how Solomon is suddenly flavour of the month, I guarantee you if Solomon was in our squad this season he wouldn't be pulling up any trees, he wouldn't be hitting anywhere near the levels he's hitting at Leeds who played in the Championship may I add.

This season it's very hard to judge anyone in this team because as a team we've gone backwards, players are lacking direction and structure and thus are being made to look a lot worse than they are. Does that mean Tel is the answer, probably not but I think he's talented and worth a go for a decent price.

Ideally you'd want the club to negotiate another loan for him playing under another manager in an improved team, that way we can judge him a bit more fairly.

Another loan with an option is probably the most sensible choice…….

…….. so we’ll probably buy him for £45m! 😂
 
Just extend the loan for another season and add in a buy clause if targets met.
Just like literally everyone, I'd rather see how he performs under a football coach. Not shown he's a £50m player yet though,

One of the three might make it in other words.
We shouldn't be spending big millions on those sort of punts, well run PL clubs which we consider beneath us don't, and yet look where we are .
