Does he get an assist for the corner?

If so, he’s got some massive goal involvements down the stretch

Gotta get rid, can’t have this guy ignoring easy passes every single time we attack.

At the very least he needs a loan, he is nowhere near good enough to play for us in the PL. He cannot do the basics.

Yea, I mean... I tend to agree with you.

He has something about him. It is true that he never hides. And seem to be mature in how he acts generally.
But his decision making and football-brain are shockingly poor so far. We need someone that can make logical passes and make correct decisions.

And I am quite sceptical - if you do not have football brain developed when you are 21... then is it possible to actually develop it at all?
I am afraid that Bayern coaches understood the same thing and this is why he was sold. And this is why by 21 his market value has already crashed to half - from 50 mil to 25 mil. From potential superstar to realistically a bottom 3rd EPL player.

Hope I am wrong, that the kid keeps his head down, works hard, starts playing smartly and become a world beater. But I do not have too much belief in it as things stand.

I think he has the talent.. he just lacks the brain. I'm not sure De Zerbi can coach him into better decision making. If he thinks he can, i don't mind if we keep him.

There aren't many wingers in the premier league in his age group (21 and under) that have been better than him this season.

Ngumoha and Dowman are twice the footballers and years younger, they just play for better teams who haven’t had to force them to have so much gametime .

Guarantee you force a team to play their younger wingers for the same mins Tel has had and they do as much or more. He’s been utter shite.

I would like to have better wingers on the squad before looking to replace Tel.

He’s been our best winger for the 2nd half of a season. The rest are all injured so who knows how they’ll come back.

He's clearly not good enough yet to be a reliable starter but to become a reliable starter and improve he's gonna need consistent minutes.

We're gagging for a new first choice LW so next season Tel's' surely at best gonna be a rotation/sub option. Might need him in the first half of the season to cover for all our long term injuries, but unless his game makes a big leap forward he's one we should probably be loaning at some point.

And if anyone makes an offer remotely near to what we paid we should just take the money and run. I still think he might come good but we have too many young players with potential that aren't ready yet. We can't keep them all.

This is the point. If Kudus is on the right wing they ain't doubling up on Tel on the left wing as they were today.
Maybe he ain't good enough for THFC, but I think he is a very good player who would look a lot better with more betterer players in the first team.

Still not sure if I rate him or not, but he was good today. A lot of stuff he does is good, just the end bit is a bit rash and lacks composure

I think we should just persevere with him as #2 LW and loan Odobert out for the season.

All you lot who want to buy 2 new players in most positions this summer have a fool's grasp on reality.

Those two are exceptions, you don't normally see players that good when they're under 18.

He's doing fine for his age if you compare him to most players in his age bracket.

I think tel started to get humble only when he realise he is shit with those 1v1 misses. The fanfare and the personal jet during his arrival was a joke.

Seriously get rid of him, we done better with summerville or Harvey Barnes

The cruelty of football is, by the time you REALLY know it, your body fucks you.
Speaking from experience………
