I keep seeing this best team in a generation thing come up.
Are we talking 11 players or the squad he had?

We overachieved for a long time and got very lucky with players such as Kane, Dele( who some will say was always shit), Eriksen, Son (first two seasons called shit btw)

And I don’t want him back either. But maybe for different reasons than you.

As fans we need to hold Levy's feet to the fire that he gives Conte the proper backing in the summer to push this club forwards, not let the slippery bastard sack another manager as a scapegoat to his own lack of ambition.

Levy will probably thinking Conte's demands are too ambitious for his vision of the club and that he can bring in Poch in as the fairytale return to keep fans excited and then spend next to bugger all again. But we need to wise up to his tactics which are all about selling season tickets with the bare minimum of outlay on the squad and wages that he can get away with.

How we came to have these players is not the issue. Every player was scouted..... Kane coming through the academy should be commended; not seen as an asterisk.
