Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Poch has £10M on his USMNT contract, even if there's a clause that allows half price to sack Ange cause we're shit, that's £5M to Ange, and Poch isn't coming back to Spurs to work under a DoF for less than a raise.

So that's a £22-25M outlay (minimum) in the next 12 months to bring Poch back now.

You guys are delusional. He's never coming back, certainly not before the WC.
Depends on his kids, family etc. they still in London?

I want him back, but it's absolutely astounding that he didn't win a trophy with the side he built the first time out.

He's a great manager though, we confirmed it last season (not that we needed to) with Chelsea the way they finished the season once they understood his tactics.

Give him this crop of youngsters, and he'll do wonders again.

And fuck off whoever says don't go back to your ex, because that is working wonders for Ancelotti / RM or Allegri / Juve in the past, or countless other examples. He's Spurs, and he always will be.

Levy needs to fix the anger on him and this may be a fantastic PR opp to do so. I'm against him coming back before Ange, but it has been long enough now. He still haven't grown in managerial capabilities IMO, but I think he has his way in the league. And we have our talented youngsters. Because he's magic, you know? 🥲

He could technically be coach of both country and club right?

Poch couldn't get us over the line when he had the best Spurs team I've seen in my lifetime.

Please... take the rose tinted glasses off.

He's not the answer, nor is another flavour of the month guy like an Iraola just because he is having a decent season with Bournemouth.

He built that team. He had his shortcomings, but he fucking built that team. He pulled through under extreme fucking circumstances. It's time that we bring him back, and let him dictate the future of the club he built.

No. Just no. People forget how bad it was at the end of his time too. The cl final papered over major cracks. Yes he was stitched up by Levy as all our managers are, but we didn't win an away game in the league for almost all of his last year. His time was over. I don't want to go back and to hear the fans constantly singing his name is fucking nauseating.

They win things anyway with or without ex managers

People also forget the way he just sacked off the domestic cups every season as well, we were the top four trophy FC

Madrid won fuck all with Lopetegui, Solari etc.
Juve struggled with Sarri and then went downhill with Pirlo. Motta has also not been good for them.
There are countless fucking examples. Look at the upturn in form Everton have had under Moyes, Atheltic Bilbao with Valverde etc. Some managers are built for a specific club. Poch is born for Spurs, the same way Cholo is for Atletico, Allegri for Juve or Ancelotti for Real Madrid.

Our best manager in the premier league era, the only one that had to go through a whole summer transfer window without Levy bringing anyone in to help him, proven to develop youngsters, proven to play the right way, only manager that gave us real grit...I'd say bring him back but with the World Cup in the US, I don't think it's happening any time soon
