I wonder how worried Poch is about the dead line? Every day that goes by makes a mockery of his statements. He's said several times that "I want more players...we will get more players...this is Tottenhams time...Expect to see players join" and so on. He basically mentions this in every interview. He said over a week ago too, from memory.

There's 14 days left. If the window closes and we've signed no one it poses the question of how much knowledge he actually has about our transfers and damages the image of both him and the club.

He's said loads of times before "the transfer window is what it is, we don't make the rules or set the deadlines"

Im worried about how shit Argentina are doing.....they could reasonably fail to qualify for the WC automatically, will they then start looking to a new coach....

Poch won't be interested at this stage of his career. Later, yes, but I doubt see any real chance that he'd take the opportunity now.
Unless things unravel a little at Spurs, and he starts to feel like he isn't in control of the team.

I think he is the sort of person who would like to see through the development of this Tottenham team, which is truly his own, but for the same reason he may want to leave if he sees things going wrong out of his control and against his model.

Eriksen leaving for Barca without suitable replacement, for example, followed by no contract for Alderweireld and a few large bids coming in for Dele... those sorts of things may make him think twice about whether he should stay or not, should a big offer from his National side come in.

I don't think he's going anywhere for a while, but I can definitely see a certain path that leads to that happening.

I don't think he's likely to not be backed sufficiently by Levy, but if that did happen I'd see him going to another club, rather than into international management at this time.
