Yeah, cos the new ground needs a load of cunts in it moaning about underachievement, and groaning at every Dier pass, and ironic clapping when Trippier gets subbed....maybe a few pre match Levy Out posters and a flying plane.
Cunt showed up in no-time. Surprise surprise. Poch lost attacking trio, switched formation in 2nd half, got a goal, Dier and Lucas missed the pen.. IT'S POCH FAULT. Had it enough with you cunt.
Not really sure what more he can do! He’s done so much for us yet we just can’t seem to get over the line!
He’s needs proper backing in the summer and then I think we will get a trophy.
Credit to him and the players second half, especially Rose for finding Llorente's strength, but ultimately you can't set up like that defensively first half and lose two goals and expect to go through with no away goals or on pens away from home.
I am being hard here. I don't care about the injuries. 0-0 > 2-1. We didn't need four at the back, a diamond, and a few non-entities up front. It was like having a player or two less first half. Yes, we literally have three less players there, but then you develop a system to do what is needed for anti-football.
Why not five at the back or in midfield? These were reasonable suggestions to work on before the game. I love Poch but he is opposed to pragmatic tactics and switching it up for his players to make it easier in big games or finals. He expects the players to play for him, and in whatever system, but they need help from that system.
If we want trophies that is what is required. Yes, on another day, and yes if we had more players and so on. That is never going to happen. From Levy to the players is all a piece of the pie including ruthless tactical management.
Perhaps Sarri's speech came at the wrong time for us but I felt Chelsea had weaknesses and we gifted them unnecessary opportunities and goals. Sarri should equally be the trophyless manager who needs a striker.
I'm not normally one to criticise Poch but I think he got his tactics wrong tonight.
He plays Llorente, but in the first half our FBs can't get forward and he is starved of the ball.
Lamela was hovering around him but there were no knockdowns and Lamela (luv him) was ineffectual.
The 2nd half was better, we went to a back 3, the FBs pushed up and Llorente got a goal.
He doesn't, as we all know, have the legs to play a pressing game and neither can he drop deep to affect the play.
The only way to get the best out of him is to put in crosses and we didn't do that enough.
I've just seen that Poch has the 2nd highest win % of any Spurs manager.
2014- , 244 games win % 56.56
Beaten only by Frank Brettell
1898-99, 63 games win % 58.73
Correct as of 20/12/18
And some still see us as a mockery and a joke at the moment. If true this should shut them up. Great find
Wikipedia.
I don't know how accurate, as some sites state league games only.

I do like a lot of what you say, but we have 3 first teamers ( top 3 scorers ) missing & Dembele gone/not available that must have a big effect on the rest of the squad, (remember when I played grassroots we had a lot of goal scorers even in games when we were 2-0 down you looked round and thought he'd score or he'd score or he will, or me, and we won most of the matches those few seasonsI thinkHyNdZee summed up my opinion quite well.
Two people come in and say that he has done so well, and changed formation in 2nd half.
And yet it is not acknowleged that it was also him who set us up with 4-4-2 and a diamond in 1st half. And it cost us 2 goals (could have cost more if they took chances better) and we generally played very bad throughout the half. On attacking side we had 0 shots in first 45. How in the world can you give him credit for the 2nd half without questioning his selection/tactics/mental preparation for 1st?!?! In that sense it seems that Ossie Wembley might be right - he is 100% immune to all criticism.
Ofc we all fcking love the gaffer. He is genully likeable person, and he is absolutely brilliant in player developement. He has created good atmosphere in team and kept the core together for a long time. And he deserves massive credit for that.
But if you praise for one thing, it does not mean that you cannot point out some issues from another field.
Since Xmas period we have had following games -
Wolves (H) 1-3 - played 1st half well. Controlled it. Were in lead. In 2nd half, exactly same lineup absolutely crumbled. We lost.
Man United (H) 0-1 - played 1st half really sloppy and slowly. Gifted rather an easy goal, created very little ourselves. 2nd half, same lineup, we gave them hell. Unfortunately was not enough.
Fulham (A) 2-1 - played 1st half as bad as I remember for past few years. Fulham had much better chances, we were basically asleep. In 2nd half we managed to up our game A LOT. And from dying moments we snached a win.
Chelsea (A) 1-2 - played absolutely horrendous 1st half. Had 0 shots on target. Conceded 2. In 2nd half, changed formation, but with same personell were MUCH MORE in game. Sadly, was not enough.
I mean, this is 3 games in a row. Okay, I admit that there have been issues with injuries and it has made it harder. Yet still, with basically same resources we have been able to play better... for a half of the game. And it makes me worried. As we saw - against teams like Fulham, we might get away with it. But against Chelsea and ManU we could not.

As you say there should be a balance.
The problem people have with Ossie Wembley is that he ONLY criticises Poch.
He never praises the teams performances.
He never praises Poch.
No that’s what you choose to see. I have repeatedly stated that he is a good coach, that he is the best I have seen at Spurs. I have done this to you so why lie? You’re either being dishonest ( not the first time with you) or you just lack the intelligence to understand this.
And yet....and yet only 1 of us id dishonest enough to end up in the bin.
Is this more lies from you, along with the one where you said that you have praised the teams performances but was unable to provide any evidence.
Or the one where you said it was a waste of your time finding a post of yours, praising the performances as you didn't need to. But was perfectly ready to waste your time finding quotes to criticise Poch.
Here's a challenge for you, if you can post a link, from the time I joined (Jan 18) which shows just one post (the whole post with no editing or altering) of yours where you've praised Poch, unequivocally, with no ifs, buts, or maybes, I will apologise wholeheartedly and unreservedly.
Go on, you know you would love to prove me wrong.

So no post then.I went in bin because of you yeah, right? What a narcissist - newsflash no really cares about you.
And you know full well why I go in the bin it's because I break the orthodoxy on our manager which is ultimate no go area on Spurs forums. Rather than facing or challenging the point just get rid of the person saying it. Well done you.
Again more lies I actually referenced the Everton away performance to you but seemingly I have go through all of the all match threads as if this proofs anything.
As for wanting a post that praises Poch why not look the post just above where I said he is a good coach and the best I have seen at the club. But you don't see that do you because you the football version of Mary Whitehouse - you're just looking for what you to get offended by.
Best manager in your life time, BUT STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Best manager in your life time, BUT STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Keep dancing to my tune.
Got you to post on the match thread.
Got you to Poch a tiny bit of praise,
Dance little doggy, dance.
Poch has his faults and is not above criticism, he's also not the finished article. Many of us just believe the positives outweigh the negatives. With you it's just about silverware and you like to bring Klopps genius up constantly but he's lost 6 out of the 7 cup finals his teams have contested. Nothings a given. So because I don't believe he is good enough to win silverware that automatically invalidates that opinion hey?
So let me fire a question to you: With the team we have why haven't we won anything in the last 5 years? What's the fault here?
